What are the exact effects on your damage that finesse bears?
-
+30% Damage Resistance fo your target.
+10% Crit chance.
-
it's "normal" damage resistance right?
what if I'd go finesse + plasma...
-
i think it is +30 to allthe target's damage resistances
-
All, yes.
-
+30% DR to ALL?
Worst trait ever :o
Since we are talking of traits I avoid to open a new topic for this question (moderator can split them up if not correct):
Heavy Handed say it lower of 30% your modifier of critical hits on table, but what that really means?
It lowers your roll for critical? It lowers your critical damage? Your critical effectiveness?

Don't underestimate it, remember you will get +10 crit chance, so you can end up with 35% crit chance. Meaning you will crit nearly always aiming at the eyes. and a blinded enemy is a dead enemy.

it lowers your critical hits (not chance to hit them). Thus if you score a critical it often wont have critical effects such as knockout, criple, damage multiplier will be worse too because of that too.

I'm hoping for a better "technical" explanation... something like "it lowers the roll on critical table (you roll 90 but it get -30% so you get another effect)"

so you just explained it yourself :>

Mine is just a guess...

Its an opposite of better criticals perk (but 30% instead of 20% ). So your roll on crit. table can be only 0-70.

You guys are all wrong, it adds 30% to the targets damage resistance. It has 0 effect on the critical hit table. You're thinking of heavy handed. I have a finesse sniper and I get insta kills and cripples all the time, which wouldn't be possible with -30% on the crit table. You should keep in mind that vedaras is almost always wrong.

Omg, and he was really talking about Heavy Handed, not Finisse.

ah I see that now, I only read the top half of the quote.

Exaustive, thank you :)
So the whole "You swing harder, not better" line is really accurate...
