Title: feeding followers how to know currrent loyalty ?

i know you have to feed followers 4-5 beer or other food a day but
IS there any indication what loyalty level they have currently.
I know that mercenaries talk angry towards you if they are low on caps
But my follower hasn''t had food today and was talking nicer  (hey amigo, hey friend) instead of the "you remind me of this other guy, awefull mess)???

They definitely will start talking shitty towards you when their loyalty drops low enough.  Their loyalty can be low enough that once combat starts, they will just run away.
