Title: Cant Update

I just installed the game and uploaded the critter.dat and Master.Dat but it will not let me connect to updater so i cannot play

Still cant connect.. I changed my ports to yours and it still wont update

I downloaded the one you gave me and it has allowed me to work the updater but now it wont even bring up the game

Delete everything but updater, then start update and download everything.

Of course, updater requires config file to work. You shouldn't listen to him :P
Did you copy Master/Critter like described here http://fodev.net/forum/index.php/topic,22146.0.html ?

Yes, I have the master and critter.dat in correctly i have installed the system 1 thing to make it so no grey screen pops up. It still just wont let me connect to updater :P

Try checking the IP
It's supposed to be 176.9.105.171
That's what fixed it for me.

I humbly apologise for inconvenience, Magnum. I still use old updater, which works without config.

Also, Jovanka is right, there are people on forums who doesnt deserve your attention. Especially the overly arrogant ones. Have fun meeting them! ;)

i guess the updater.exe from MOB downloading files is not working. GM needs to update it.
