Get rid of rad-away addictions.... Nuff said.
-
Why?
-
Drugs and addiction system is kinda weird imo and has been since the very original games... but why do you want to scrap RadAway addiction? for faster levelling on centaurs/floaters? which means even moar alts on Worldmap? Hell no.
-
Why?
WHY??? I respond to your question with another question. How can someone get addicted to an antibiotic?!?!?! Its impossible. Description of rad-away,
"A chemical solution that bonds with radiation particles and passes them through your system. Takes time to work."
That is an antibiotic. That is why addictions should be taken away. I mean, I could understand if it was morphine or some such, but its not. Its basically Chemotherapy in liquid form. People don't get addicted to that.....

Antibiotics kill bacteria or other microorganisms, they have nothing to do with radiation. Not that it matters :)
-
Who uses expensive and infective radaway instead of npc doctors?

biotic does indeed mean organism, but also, antibiotics attack harmful particles in your body. So I still say its an antibiotic. Either way, it doesn't make sense.

Only problem is that with lethal doses of radiation, your whole body is pretty much the harmful particle collapsing on itself.

Then we should nerf this "whole body" thing.

Hardcore fucking facepalm..... Can't even start with whats wrong. But jovanka's suggestion pretty sums it up.

No, they don't. And it makes sense. Think harder.

I agree with Gimper, Radaway addiction was retarded even in the original games.
-
Not sure what the big deal is, radaway addiction doesn't decrease your max AP, just lowers your rad resistance.
If you are afraid of getting addicted either don't take chem reliant trait or if you insist on having it cure yourself at doctor.
-
Is Radaway addiction permanent like Jet? I don't remember it being that way in the original 2 fallouts, but it has been forever.
-
No, but it takes a fair while until it wears off. Much longer then with other addictions.

Jet is permanent. Others are permanent only if you take chem reliant trait.

What a interest immediately from devs. They see something that they like :P
Radaway addiction is like month to wear off :P
-
I am levelling a character using flamer against centaurs/floaters/aliens and so I used RadAway. Got addiction which wore off in a few days...

Using 2 rad x is way more efficient, rad away only removes like 10% of your radiation anyways
-
Why spreading false information again?
Rad-away takes away a fixed amount of 25 immediately then 50 and 75 with delay.
-
Yeah and radiation is like 1000 points when you need it cured. I'm not spreading false information the amount it heals is negligible.
-
wiki says character dies if reach 1800 radiation level, radaway heals 150 points, thats 1/12 but raochor is still quite accurate.
-
There is no 10% of your radiation, there is a fixed amount not based on your current amount of radiation and not on maximum.

At 375 rads (20.83%), a character's health will be significantly affected, resulting in a temporary loss of 2-5 SPECIAL points.
In-game message: You are hemorrhaging violently. You are very sick, and your hair is falling out.
-
It's called approximation, you should look it up. Either way radaway is useless, radx is infinitely more effective and so is getting cured at the doctor. 700 caps for full heal vs 350 caps for 10% heal. But please continue acting like a petulant little girl.
-
Nah, that is just when someone doesn't know what he is talking about. :)

Have you ever been to Glow? By the way rad-x doesn't heal anything ... ;D
Go there with only rad-x.
