Title: Hex Targeting with Rocket Launchers

Similar to the way someone would throw a Frag/Plasmanade on a hex of their choice by using the ~ button, but instead you use a rocket Launcher to attack the hex, this would increase Tactical use of this weapon a lot and you could safely attack enemies that are close to your teammates by aiming a few hex further and also attack campers behind cover.

But you have to hold the rocket in your hand, not the Launcher?

I'm asking that they improve the Targeting script for RocketLaunchers so players can target a hex for better Tactical use of this weapon and improve the realism of battle.

Makes sense... Plus it  MIGHT make them less useless in PVE if you can aim the hex instead at the critter.



Could cripple PVP a bit though.

Uhh It has been like this in FoT, and they removed it shortly after public launch. I can't remember why, only thing I catched was the usual "trolls" stuff. But I'm sure it was a good reason

Possibly make the rocket aim-able only if the RL is loaded. If it is unloaded, make it be throw-able. Problem solved. Now for the scripting.

Yea, make RL melee wp too, when it hit, it hurts

Ehh..... Just when I thought the players of fonline had hope. Oh well. But back on topic, I was thinking, maybe make the blast radius of the rocket change depending on the angle. Just like when a solid object gets in the way, your view is obstructed. So when a rocket hits something, make the explosion only go in front of, and on the side of whatever it hits.
