Ok, I've searched the forum around for big guns build with drugs and have been having a hard time making any progress in fallout online but I think I've hit a good start with this build

Normal:             Drugged:Psycho, Buffout, Nuka-cola, Cigarretes
2 str                 5 str
5 pe                 4 pe
10 end              10 end
1 ch                 1 ch
5 int                 5 int
10 agi               10 agi
6 lk                  6 lk

Weapon handling, Chem Reliant

Perks: (in this order)
- Weapon Handling
- Toughness
- Bonus Ranged damage
- Bonus Ranged damage +
- More Ranged Damage
- Bonus Rate of Fire
- Man of steel
- Even tougher

220% Big guns
122% First aid
102% Doctor

Do you see what I'm doing with this build? is it any good? Should I drop the luck and put in perception?

Sorry for making another thread, I'm just having problems and whatever I make never seems good enough, maybe I'm in some sort of paralysis through analysis but I just want to have fun xD

you sure you only want 2 str with a big gunner? o.o need to be able to carry ammo and shit too.

You end up with 67 carry weight, I think that's probably enough I think xD

You don't need that 6% critical, crits with bursts are very rare so put 1lk, 2int and add them to perception and strenght, remove weapon handling and put adrenaline rush instead and you dont need the FA skill, use SS instead and put it all to doc(won't be much because of 2int tho).

Weapon handling.Even Tougher.brd.ab.ab.brof.Lg x2.Man of steel is meh,since you can t avoid SD crits,snipers are so nerfed anyway...so imho having two burst is better in most of situations.

250 hp,2hits per turn.With 6 int you can tag out and ew and farm your own stuff from muties and be self sufficient.And also talk correctly.
Luck must never be 1,otherwise you get very nasty bypasses even from npcs.

But if you don t care about farming,and you can get your stuff elsewhere,then low int to 3 and put the rest to perception.No need for drugs for a good bg gunner.You need drugs for a uber pwnzor biggunner,but it s not worth the truoble in my opinion.


NOTE.If you plan on heavy farming then strong back instead of even tougher makes life easier.

Yeah my first bg was 1 luck, huge mistake. Your build is pretty good special wise, your perks suck though. brd only benefits avenger, you're better off doing 12 ap and getting 2 shots.

Drugs: psycho, beer, nuka, cigs

Using CA/CAMKII, M60 and SS

EDIT: this should be profesional PVP tank(in my mind maybe:P), he has 95% Chance To Hit on  29 hex range only but idea is he got maxed resists, BH+MOS he should be going few hexes in front of his teammates :P, or he can go withou beer so his 95% range would raise to 33 hexes.

All Drugs

its because jet reduces st by 2. so 7st+ weapon handling + jet = 5st + weapon handling

his basic ST is 6+1(psycho)+2(buffout)-2(jet)=7 + Weapon handling  oO

I have a crit build and a double shot build, crits are nice but rare. Realistically you'll have 20% crit, armour and man of steel completely negate this. So this is 2 perks used for 1 in 10 shots at best, almost nil against a real target. Getting 2 shots off doubles your damage output every time and is more likely to succeed. Finesse and bg don't mix, anyone with 10 luck is pretty much invulnerable to you.

Hey,
i've got some noob question: how "fast shot" trait aplies, if it does, to burst fire, i mean the +5 bonus dmg, does it work and if so it adds +5 to each bullet or to overal dmg:?

It adds the +5 damage to the whole burst, not per bullet like Bonus Range Damage.
