Title: Remove Gr quest
Post by: Ivic777 on November 29, 2012, 04:10:21 pm
Since last update, no1 gives a shit about crafting, and you made it easier to get armors and helmets, so why dont you make easier crafting, to just go to Gr and craft, instead of doing retarded quests, or go to Sierra or toxic caves??

Removing quests is just a waste. Instead of suggesting this suggest to remove the rep need only or make it possible to  join Gun Runners permanently. Also it would have been better to post this at Suggestion in my opinion.

Yea, either that, either to remove rep need, or if we must lose rep with gr, let it be like 10 per a day.

I like Jotisz's suggestion better.

Remove one of three quests? How creative would that be.

You call that a quest? Also if some things are changed, like farming armors easily (people used crafting for armors only), so other things should be changed, like removing rep or joining gr to easily craft items, if anyone will craft...

I like the idea of being able to buy membership, not to mention Gun Runners would make a good NPC Crafter Faction--maybe like what was attempted with Enclave and BoS, but less broken and with more content.

I definitely think there should be options; having the fetch quest for reputation is okay for neophytes, but once you've done this quest a million times you should be able to buy in and stop the grinding if you want to.

If you want to use the safest bench, then you must go the lengths to get it. Lowering the rep to nothing or removing rep altogether, and we may aswell just have them in our bases. Which beats the purpose.

Ok if its a lie, than tell me purpose of crafting if you can farm everything you need. People craft dynamites only, and maybe few other things...

Well, now noone does need to craft hi tech stuff because you can craft everything and if you're lazy you can start farming
raiders --> unity -->vc/rangers so you get hi tech stuff and repair it, simple isnt it? Crafting is for casuals in this game and it will stay for a bit longer if it wont be combined with tc or something.

But still, you got right - due to the changes if someone start now from scratch he doesn't need to craft

Actually, getting access to the Gunrunners bench is so easy, past a certain stage in a player's development it's just a formality--meaningless busy work. I think if a player has taken the time to amass BPs and enough resources to purchase entire city states, then maybe they should be allowed to graduate to the next level and seek new challenges.

Make the safe advance bench cost 50-100k for permanent access. It'll give players another goal to work towards and it'll provide something else to spend caps on.
