1. Don't imobilize player, in big fight the player would hardly pay attention to the assassin saying "sshhh"
2. Less HP and damage, around 180 HP and around 150 damage sounds fair enough for a successful hit.
3. Whenever he shows up to the player, make sure he shows up to everyone else, some player and I sticked together in event waiting for assassin to show up and he killed him before I could see him and react.
4. Make player be able to react an attack, doesn't make much sense how we can't react to him once he shows up.
5. With all these nerfs, lower the time it takes from the "sshhh" to the actual attack, I think something like 2 seconds is enough for a quick player to have a chance at aiming the crosshair at him.

Immobilizing is okay, otherwise the feature wouldn't make sense, as the target runs away and bursts him.
Also, knife over neck is pretty much instakill.
Decloaking makes absolut sense, when in FoV of other player.
But how about a ST (raw strength)or AG (taekwondo) check for breaking free from his grip?
As for the future, i see butthurt rage posts over ninjas being seemingly OP in PvP.

what are you guys talking about? Is this a change to player builds or some weird scripted ai thing?

Yesterday devs tested a new feature in a event - imagine bursting zombies, suddenly a Male Hero pops with 300 Sneak behind you, says "shhh...", you can't run away (message:"you can't move"), and then, he crits you with a ripper for 3000HP.
Everyone was pissed off at the event, but we weren't promised anything good.

Caesar Milan is an assassin? Why the hell would whispering freeze you.

There's something about the "sshhh" that just makes you sit.
