using the main entrance, and for some strange reason they get attacked by the guards around beckys. They weren't set to hostile, got themselves and me killed and lowered my slaver rep from 150 to like 80. I recently joined vc, maybe that has something to do with it. Any ideas why?

I'm not sure or not, but whenever a merc/slave attacks a player in any town, the town npcs will attack the player/mercs/slaves.

Did you like set them to attack your enemies or something? Maybe they saw a nemesis of yours near by and got wasted in route? That or its a glitch, guess we'll have to see if this problem arises again.

den is unprotected, I've killed people using slaves before without repercussion. I hadn't set their hostility so it was at default don't attack until you get hit.

I know Den is unprotected...i'm stating this is a bug. This has happened to me in BH where my mercenaries have never attacked the town NPCs before, but when they attacked the player, the town NPCs such as the annoying mercs attacked them.

Was the victim of the original attack someone with Slaver Mark?
Maybe there are allegiance flags.
