Basically, when npc's are hitting/shooting me, i cant run from it. My character keeps sliding back into the zerg and so I am forced to fight. This is not possible when I randomly encounter 20 ghoul scavangers with loaded guns and moltov cocktails, I can't even imagine being able to take down the 15-20 scavangers at level 24. Is the ''moonwalking'' a bug that I can somehow fix? otherwise, this is very frustrating.

It's a feature.

Try having your character stand in place for a second when it starts, then start running again.

I see.
I propose we swiftly remove this moonwalking feature and replace it with a few more time sinks, I'll wager the devs will go for the idea. ::)

If the game can detect moonwalking (by lag signature), have it play the opening 2-3 seconds from Thriller (where the bassline kicks in) when detected.
Also on entry to Gecko, Necropolis, and the Old Ghouls Home in BH.
Like the music that plays when gettin Ranger perk.

How exactly is that a ''feature''
or was that a joke?
please tell me its a joke and they didn't do this on purpose?
they sat down, and had a deliberate thought to go out of their way to implement THIS?
fail.
OR hopefully I just need to learn to take a joke.

It's an ongoing joke, where as it all started when some dude from our lovely forums reported a bug. Then some other dude from our lovely forums replied "It's not a bug, it's a feature". And now people seem to have borrowed the line and use it whenever somebody feels like it... Just like "Soon"...
