I want to again play Icewind Dale 2 but I need some mods. Are there any mods for IW2 like for Fallout 2 Resoration project? Something which:
- fix bugs
- higher resolution
- better features

No problem. :) Enjoy the game! Reminds me I wanted to try out the first one+expansion again too, heh. Never actually played through Trials of the Luremaster or however it is called.

I'm playing it for the first time ever, I'm at the horde fortress right now.
I prefer Baldur so far... I miss banter the most.
Still good game, BG and this one are the only fantasy-crap themed games I managed to enjoy.

The Icewind Dale games are all about aquiring new shiny things to equip your bunch of adventurers stomping through deep dungeons while they slay hundreds of creatures on their way.
Babysitting retarded NPC and "banter" would only come in the way and I am glad they left this out.

Yeah BG has more of an open world while Icewind is a linear story, but a good one and I enjoyed it very much

If I use polish version of iw2 (patch 2.01) how to patch resolution (Widescreen Mod)?

The widescreen mod should work with all languages if I remember right.

Well, before patching I must choose my language,
0 - english
1 - francais
2 - spanish
3 - russian
4 - italiano
For examaple, I use english, then I have to install components,
1- orginal Infinity Engine
2 - for GemRB
I choose 1 and my patching failed (I set resolution to 1680x1050). Failure "exe patching failed".If I choose 2, patching is working but when I run the game the resolution didnt change. So what is wrong? My version is orginal, the game runs but I can't only apply resolution mod. Could you help me solve it?
