Hello Folks,
stupid question maybe, but how is luck related to the burst mode? I mean if you choose to build a burster is it however usefull to give him luck more than 1? I noticed that you can deal critical hits in burstmode but is the critical calculated for EVERY bullet in burstmode? I really dont get it...
Also but unrelated: I´ve never build a pvp character but i want to try. So i thought about an crippler build with energy wepons (plasma pistol) acting in sneak mode.

Energy Wepons 202
Sneak 270
Perks: more crit, even more crit, better crit, silent death, silent running, right between the eyes and finess
BUT I really dont have any realtime combat experience so im not shure about that build. I think endurance 4 is needed for leveling though he wount survive any hits in pvp. But there is the thing with only 8 ap... will that do it in combat given the strategy -sneaking, aimed shot to the eyes, hoping for good crit?
Thanks for comments

but sneak to 300 or at least pick ghost perk. 270 sneak = 10 pe char see you from ~ 30 hexes

Luck does affect bursts, because the more luck you have the better the chance you won't miss and better criticals you get... depending on how many hexes are you away from the enemy...
-
so it might be usefull to switch from energy wepons to small guns? cause even with a crit that ignores amor energy-pistols dont deal that much damage...
-
Well, it depends, which do you like more? I mean, no one really cares to be the 'best player' in this cause it's not possible, but both are good, you decide...

Are you saying that luck affects hitchance?
-
are crit bursters any good now anyway?

I think he is trolling him.

Are you saying that luck affects hitchance?
I hope not. http://fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Hit_Chance no luck there.
Luck does affect base critical chance http://fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Critical_Chance and i think it also affects critical power modifiers, thus increasing the chance for more powerfull critical hit.

Luck stat in combat:
When pulling the trigger all luck provides is higher critical hit chance.
When you're on the damage recieving end your luck just affects chance to not recieve bypass (higher your luck - lesser chance to recieve bypass).
Also when you critically miss lower luck means more severe critical miss.

Perfect, already updated the Luck article on wiki. Could you also tell us what skills are affected by luck? All combat skills (in a way you stated), first aid and gambling (which does have no use now) are the ones we know of already.

I wasn't trolling anyone. I know this because I played this game for a year and you can learn a few things everyday on this...

luck also affects merc hp, outdoors, crit resistance, possible outcomes for critical/critical fails
