Title: Quests / teachers to gain craft skills

Ok, personally the whole having an alt to craft everything for your main combat char is ridiculous,
its not a fun, nor interesting, nor practical game mechanic.

So how about have NPC's you can go to, and pay caps to learn the skills you need to craft
 - repair skill
- outdoorsman ( gecko skinning)
-Science 
etc etc, so players dont have to waste skill points on them, this way you can have a fully independent, functioning combat character who can craft his own armors/ weapons as well,
instead of having to alt and mule ammo over ( which is a really lame game mechanic if you will stop to think about  it)

you can have dialog option on the same NPCs that teach you the professions - small guns, big guns, etc, to learn the skill requirements that go with them, ie repair skill.

This will promote more independent characters, funner gameplay.

So, ditch all Simulation/RPG elements for a Diablo-like twitch game?

Also: what if some people have logistics-based combat strategies - the "Long War" approach?
