Title: The Hand of Satan

Satan himself has come a fore us today and has stolen the voice of the once mighty holy egg, we shall need to gather an adventure team to go down into the depths of hell and take the egg's voice from Satan's hand, it will not be easy, maybe even impossible, but we must try...if we do not do this the egg shall die and the whole world will descend into chaos, so please, please help me assemble a team to go down there and take the egg's voice back, we will need at least 10 people with professions of all sorts...We will retrieve the egg's voice and all of the wasteland will arise into happiness...thank you, we can do this if we believe.

People needed:
Repair man (one): to make and fix our antifire suits for the fires of hell
Big Guns specialist (one or more): They will focus primarily on damage Satan and will be in the front dealing the most damage.
Crippler (one or more): The Crippler Assist class shall attempt to cripple Satan and his minions reducing the damage taken on friendlies
EW Specialist (one or more): The EW specialist will need to be equipped with either a plasma rifle or a Gatling laser to deal tons of damage on satan and his minions.
Medic (one or more): The medic will heal and assist all of his/her allies, this will be my main goal.
Sniper (one or more): The Sniper shall assist by shooting at the eyes and trying to knock down the enemies and doing other sniper things.
Scientist (one): The scientist will assist the repair man in making the antifire suits and also assist in other things.
The Troll (one): The troll does whatever he can to make his team mates mad and feeds on doing that, examples include stealing
Leader(one, maybe 2) Will taxi everyone.
 the hell-car bursting others and being a complete asshole, i will judge if the troll is funny enough for the job.
Any others can come also this is just some that we will probably need.

We shall destroy satan and his minions and get the holy egg's voice back from the hand of Satan.
If we can do this our deeds will be told and sung in songs for ages to come.

I am now actually thinking of making an actual event like this with satan vs the egg worshippers, so there is now an option to join Satan's side, if an admin could move this to events that would be wonderful...someone would need to play Satan also if your interested please say and ill give you the roll...lets do this!

second of all, i'm not sure if your "nut-sized brain" realizes it, but the only thing fueling this server is PvP and those "monkeys" you speak of, and it's pretty obvious that when PvP mechanics are fucked, the server remains empty.

I can't tell that PvP isn't important here, in FO:2238, but FFS, stop telling me that this is the essence of this game. If you feel so, go rather play some Call of Duty or similar, would be better for all of us, then.

It used to be called "Faction mod"  - true, but that does not mean factions need to fight 24/7 and do nothing else. It totally does not mean that and I am 100% sure that for long time Devs are trying not to focus only on PvP apes. Lucky for us, not retarded as you.

And about server being empty without PvP - that's not really true. Ofc good TC system brings more people, but not as much as you think so. The point is there, that counter shows characters online and not players online - and I am sure you know what I mean.

you're right. devs are not focusing only on PvP apes. they give items with their GM characters to the biggest asskissers.

i'm not sure how to say this, but just because you do PvP doesnt necesarily mean you have to do TC. get your facts straight.

and yes, the server WILL be empty without proper pvp, and it shows with the server numbers that come from bad updates concerning pvp mechanics.

I see no connection between Devs and The Egg. It was put there by one of GMs and this topic is about upcoming (player-driven) event so yes, this is actual game situation. It's not mine problem if you are partly blind and consider the whole game as just only Toilet Control + some PvP in Reno. That's even kinda sad.

But why the hell can't you just shut ur mouths if you don't give a shit about The Egg? Just pretend we are not here and this topic is locked or something. It's none of ur bussiness and it doesn't affect you - pvp apes - even a little bit, so why are you so mad at it?

I havent even entered NCR but once since the egg has been there.  That being said I have kept up with this post and I find what it has added to the game quite entertaining.  I dont really get into the roleplaying but for some reason I enjoy when other people do.  I completely agree that game mechanics need attention, but that in no way is what is killing the game for me.  Its the lack of interaction with other players and this egg adds to that in my opinion.  I never played this game because it worked right, I played it because it was the closest you ever came to a post apocalyptic setting, that even made me think about roleplaying.  The people are what made it interesting to me and the ways they take on roles of wastelanders.  Anyways whatever see ya in the wastes.
