Title: Another Few Ideas

1: Might abusable, a higher-able merchant for hqs.
can only sell one item (armor/drugs/ammo ect.)
cap amount is set by ether cha or barter or a combo of both
re-spawn rate is 1/2 that of normal shops
only 1 per hq
cost is x2 cap amount

2: A visible alignment system of some sort

a skull and crossbones by your name for killing some one 5 lvls below you
or a gold shield for killing some one 5 lvls higher
or a smile face to show that your friendly
and a perk like poker face that hides the symbol.

The perk woudl be a waste, and the "visible alignment" would be abusable: kill your gangmate's alt to get either good or bad symbol.

Sorry, the alignment system makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Think about it.

If someone pops up in your enc and attacks you, you try to get rid of him. End of story.
Also right now I'm occasionally idling in NCR, having a chat with a few people and patching up wounded players. With that system I'd occasionally idle in NCR and get onehexed for karma. If that seems bizare, it's because it is.

No, please. Let's not remove thinking from the game.

IMHO you should learn about other characters by interacting with them in the game
or asking for opinion other people, not via some magical good/bad icons.

Even if he's from a faction?

Gangs use colors.  In real life even.

What are factions called on 2238?...  GANGS!

Colors.  They use colors.  Reminds me of... something we once had...  OH that's right!  Namecolorization!

And it made fucking sense.  Cus since we can't have customizable flag (patches that are visible) so people can distinguish factions, colors was perfect.

Now we got more or less clusterfucks of nonsensical bull-shit where people constantly scream "WHO IS THIS IS HE FRIEND DO I SHOOT HIM HURHRURHURHRUR?!?!??!?" 24/fuckin 7.

if that's your idea of "getting to know other characters by interacting" you got it. 

Let's be honest with ourselves.  Namecolorization did not remove thinking from anything.  it added an awesome, SENSIBLE way of distinguishing factions during fights.  That's all really.

yes, I just used this topic as an excuse to go off about NC some more.

I should be ashamed.  :(
