Add possibility to shot whole clip in cost of ap's. for example:
minigun shots 30 bullets for 7 ap.
add posibility to shot
60 bullets for 10 ap and 120 bullets for 12 ap
that would be not only for miniguns, but for every burst mode weapon. sorry if was suggested earlier

Good idea, but more AP need. For example you shoot 60 ammo for 10 AP, but your AP dont increase (3-4 AP time), like crit missed. And need more ST...

yeah the whole idea is to add posibility, ap's req for bursts were only example. its all about possibility to shot 60, 90 or 120 rounds per 1 burst. more ST required is good idea for that, like 10 st required for 120 rounds and 12 ap to do that

Even new players know that bg weapons are most up in the game, so dunno what you want from this idea.
The thing that burst crits can reach 1000+ damage does not make them powerful at all.

It wouldn't be that bad if the spread was added too. So if you shoot 3 times more ammo, you shoot 9 cones instead of normal 3.

It means you could hit nine targets instead of 3. Might be still too op with onehexing.

More bullets for less ap? Looks like suddenly weapon shoots faster then before... it makes sense with minigun which has to spin up but with other weapons it would mean that player doesn't spend ap for aiming so spread would be massive. Still onehexing with this option is instant kill.

A bit offtopic, but its silly that from one hex, you do full damage while from 2+, you do exactly one third of damage. Why cant it be linear ?

It's difficult to balance bursts dealing linear dmg depending on the distance, especially that weapons have different numbers of rounds used in each burst. It would make them overpowered or underpowered easily. Still, if anyone was willing to create a complete design doc for such bursts, I'd be particularly interested.

Normally 2 bursts from minigun = 14 ap, with this possibility 2 bursts from minigun = 10 ap. I see more bullets for less aps.
So to balance this burst option it would have greater spread. It would be like normal burst but more deadly from close range and even more useless on distant targets. So I think it's purposeless.

How about each shot takes 1 ap and only fires one bullet at a time

This thread idea would be great if bursting was deeply nerfed before.
