IDEA: Failed quest should be able to redo it after some time.
Well i'm not pvp ape anymore and want to do some quests with my HtH char but i can't cozi find newquests and if i fail em i can't finish them. Only by knowing every chat option it's allowed to do it so why not make it easier .
So as i said before, failed quests should be "unfailed" after some time and able to restart them.

Hmmm , yeah , no.

Who told you that you must finish every quest? oO

well fallout is about quest so maybe add more and give more chances for repeat quest. alot of people like to do quest and like to do all of them. farming and pve gets boring fast and a quest is some times a welcome change to the normal pve, farming and pvp. also some people would like to just do quest so why not let them?

To win the game? Hello?

No one. However, if he wishes to do it, he will make an additional alt. Putting limits where they can be immediately bypassed by alts, doesn't make any sense.

And what cannot be bypassed by alts? :P Still i see no point in adding mechanic which will change quests dialogs into single number containing correct answers; we have it already in support perks, don't we? You failed in one quest, move to another/easier one. There's not much of them, true, doesn't mean that we should to make them even easier than they are now.

so you would rather people just make new alts to repeat quest instead of just making them repeatable after some time?
:-\ make sense ::)
why do you devs like to troll us? ( this is actually a real question and not me trolling)

Thats the biggest problem of this game. It ruins almost everything connected with Role Play. Figure out some way to avoid it, devs. Its not the best thread for this, but i can imagine two:
1. Characters got more lvls to gain (infinity for ex. but after 24lvl you get only 1HP per lvl to prevent making 500hp chars), gets perks every 2 lvls, in that way: battle perk/"social" perk/crafting perk. That way every char is pretty self sufficient and no need for alts (but no rarity for characters)
2. Make it harsh to make another character and every character needs to have story (no crazy 1ST Jet builds allowed or impaled BP hunters)
I'm not saying ideas are great, but exists.

I don't care if people make alts or not, i simply ignore their existence. If you put alts as main problem for any feature, you'll end in game where nothing is worth adding or doing - "becouse alts!"

i dont care about the alts "problem" either but am just saying why make us make alts when there are be easier ways of doing things. i really dont think it should be needed to waste my time and make new alts every time i want to do a quest. a cooldown would be cool but doing a quest once and its gone forever does not work well in a online rpg. it just makes players waste time making new alts to do the quest. for example i like the gunrunners mutie quest but am not going to make a new alt every time i want to do it. just too much work. but some people like doing quest all the time and for them i think they should not have to make a new alt for every quest because they allready did it. there is not enough quest in this game for us to us 1 alt and have fun for months so we need to redo them over and over. all am asking if you do a simple some cooldown that allows people to redo the quest after maybe a week just to allow them to redo them without making a new alt.
-
Well... i don't want to make any alts to do the quest.
And that's the point to make Failed quest to reset, not repatable like "caravan bag holding".
And it would lower the alt's rate ;)
Quest's don't have to be easy but do-able
I love questing allowme to do em !
-
almost 40k alts so far, i have to make few more quest which mean that another 20 alts incoming.

This game is all about pvp ape, farming/hoarding and levelling alts, you shouldn't even waste time to read what the NPCs are saying: dialog 1 4 2 1 4 for NPC B543.

Well... Thanks Mr. Sarcasm
But it still should redoable after failure.
-
I'm sorry, but most of the dialogs are easy enough to figure out what essentially leads to quest complete and what leads to thousands of NPCs coming at you to rid you off this wasteland. An absolute no-no from me.
-
Well... it's not straight when i have such 3 options :
1: hope you don't have any silly ideas
2 : hope nothing bad will happend to me with you guys
3 : What.
And in Fallout when you failed a quest what did you do ? Load Game and redone it.
OR
You played with walkthru

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but what? The time I first (and actually seriously) played Fallout I had no internet connection, so that leaves out the walkthrough option. And the loading after failing? Are you serious? You do realize you can't do everything at once and you will fail a quest at one point anyway. Make another playthrough, go different routes, complete the quest there. If your OCD is so damn damned then I'll be damned you have something damned wrong in your damned brain!
FOnline alts = Fallout playthroughs. I'm sorry (yet again), but that's how it works here, and that's how it works in almost every other game.
