Title: Lost Caps in Bank

Yea i recently deposited 1000 caps into my back account at the Hub. but after a while when i talked to the NPC who operated the bank.he claimed i dont have my account.... has this happened to anyone because its frustrating losing gold when someone kills u and its even more annoying when u lose caps in bank. please help me.. Thanks

i can give you this 1000 caps in game if its so much gold for you.  also always hide money to tent/base they will never disappear from there

Wrong.

The banker npc claimed that he has no account. With the latest server restart also a rollback happened.

Conclusion: He got rolled back and therefore his account and everything is not existing. This has nothing to do with the bank. Technically he never placed the money there, it is wherever it was at the time to where the server rolled back.

I don't want to whine, nor point anyone or anything, but bank system ain't working as it should, hiding caps on wall hex is safer than in bank...

I do not want to start a flame or argue, because there is no point at all, just saying, banks are not worth putting caps in them, NCR guards take the caps out and buy cheap whores and hot vodka.

But yes, in case of rollback those would dissapear anyway, thats true.

The point of bank was the interest, not the safety.

Now, bank serves no purpose.

My point was that I used most of my time yesterday doing shit in FOnline and today when I was about to use it I founded myself without nothing but a blue suit and 20 fruits because of the rollback.

i dont think he understands what happened with the rollback.

lets just clear this up for him.
he made a  account at the bank and placed 1k into the bank
the roll back happened and thus he did not really make a account with the bank because the roll back happened.(sent him back lets say 15 min)
sent him back to before he made the amount and "20 fruits" ;D were in his inventory instead of 1k

I withdraw and deposit several times during my play week, usually large amounts, I've never had a problem, except for rollbacks which usually just means my moneys back in the bank.  The Banking crash of 2011 isn't as possible anymore with the current screwed up Vender system.  And besides I think enough people got very pissed off over it, perhaps the Dev's even modified it.  Should you let 500k caps sit in there and gain from the savings rate?  Probably not just cause I can't promise the Dev's didn't forget a 0 or 1 somewhere in the coding that was supposed to stop accounts from gaining if there were no more caps in the world market.
