Whenever I try to invite my own alts into a base and add them as friends it won't show in their ~factioninfo screen.
How do I make my alts get the invitation? I alredy used my leader alt to invite all my other chars and add them as friend.

what i know invitation and friend/neutrl/enemy is all about Status, so you cant have 2 statuses in same time?
if you want your alt to become member you must change his status to "invited" by "manage members..." option in faction computer
(NOT by editing records)

I tried both friends and invited, none made my alts see the base.
-
you have to set hideout clerence with faction leader too :X
-
thought someone have to lead them first to the base. so the invited ones and friends can accept the invite..? maybe its outdated, i have nothing to do with bases this season. so sorry if iam out of place.
-
This problem happeend to me too, I WANT MY MERC LEADER
-
Nevermind... Turns out you have to drag your alts to base like last season...

Just accepting the invite doesn't make you see the base. The other parts might be a re-implemented feature, but that part is still a bug, I'm pretty sure.
To "fix" it, after you accept invite, log off in base until your character disappears (3 minutes), and then log again and you should get a message saying you can see the base.
As avv said in the bug report, the old (now current) faction system just encourages dual-logging, and it doesn't really help anything as far as I can see...

I don't think its a reimplemented feature.
I played a bit around to see how I could get a char see a base. And it seems that just setting a char to friend for some reason makes that char marked as invited too (beside the friend status) however the player will not be able to accept invitation. This only shows with the command of ~factioninfo.
Made 2 character for this test to be sure.

If you want to add a character as a friend, don't invite them at all.
Use "Create new record for non-member"
Use the "Say" button to input the name. When you click done the record should be displayed.
At that point you can set that characters status as a friend.
If the hideout clearances have been set by the faction leader, they should see it when that character logs on. I've done it this way dozens of times without an issue.

The ~factioninfo command has been doing that since the start of the session.

Base clearance is bugged since the 28/06 update, see the bug report (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php/topic,24562.0.html).

yeah after update its broken. you could just invite alt or add as friend and base appeared on his map without problems. now you have to invite/drag alt to base and accept/leave and bring him again
-
Ahh, that's dildoes. Didn't see the bug report previously.
I added two to my bases as friends since that update though, maybe I got lucky.
