I challenge you to find anything positive about this game that would get someone's interest. "Hey come play this game that looks 20 years old, gets updated once a year, has a sketchy server, has no content and even the hardcore players have abandoned."
From our good friend DskPnk
Totaly agreed, Amboy was the oldest french team of the server, we waited for this wipe for something as good as the past years, and this session is the worst i ever played ! We have a max of 100 players and server is crashing too much ! Sry for that but i think fonline 2238 is dead or dying !
Reason : No major changes exept bugged TC, Gm are not making anything interesting (events) and most of the "real team" left the game after having owned everybody, from our point of view we won Gecko with the new North Alliance and our ally got all others city, but toilet control allows for everybody to reach 500 influence and boils down to nothing else than fighting for 1 inf point is possible at this point !

To be honest, most of these players you guys miss so much were assholes.

Nothing.I love it like an old wife,i can accept shitty mechanics, but server downs are just too much.Too fucking much.
Forgot a thing, edit:because there are some wonderful people that make it fun even sitting in a bar chit-chatting.That can make your heart beat fast and make you enjoy a real wasteland-friendship feeling.I m talking about many, many people, almost as many as trolls.

Also I just realized your opening statement was a copy paste from my post, wtf.

same for me, i've played fallout 2 a lot in my childhood and its even better to share this fanboy feeling in fonline with some dudes,
or at least been killed by apes "roleplaying a raider".. even that is cool

hehe seems you're giving good templates for that theme

nuff said
if you hate it why are you looking for reasons
you hate it you hate it, don't play it, but don't look for folowers on this forum on your "fuck FOnline" religion
i tried to make folowers for the Lag religion, but didn't work

Actually, people just do not have enough balls.
I would MUCH happily participate in a decent, organized and determined Anti-PK or Anti-grieving vigilante team.
But it is always easier to do it the bad way, right? People grief for resources (as if that was really needed in FOnline), but they won't ever spend their not-really-hard-earned anything for a little of justice, even though this is an online game.
You know, everyone just keep talking shit that this is how the wasteland would be in reality, that this is Fallout 2 multiplayer. Bullshit.
If you have played fallout 2, yes there were gangs and shit, but not everyone had big guns and explosives. Slavers had KNIVES and broken guns. You know, with all the metal and cash there is with all players, they could just rejoin and build a better world, if that was Fallout 2. They just can't do that on Fallout 2 exactly because of the canonical LACK of resources.
There are so many big guns that you could melt them all and build a city with it. LOL.
