Title: Selling stuff for real money?
Post by: Klaatu on June 06, 2012, 08:23:34 pm: Does anyone know if we are allowed to buy / sell items for real money? I might be interested in crafting items (as soon as I find some blueprints) and large quantities of materials for a small fee. And when it comes to rollbacks, I would definitely attempt to re-do the trade, especially if I had already received the payment.

Also some people might pay for not having to collect craploads of junk and wood for a base. All I want to know is if this kind of trading is allowed on the forum or not. It seems there is at least one person who would pay real money for a virtual item, but unfortunately I don't have CA blueprints at my disposal. I was planning on keeping the prices so low, that the majority of my potential customers would consider the price insignificant. After all, this game is about having fun, not hoarding stuff which you will lose eventually. For the having fun part, you will need gear and materials, which I would like to offer for a tiny fee.

Also the one guy who is interested is clearly joking, but hey if you think the amount of time it takes to get a CA is worth a penny you could always go work in a chinese ipod factory, you could make double that.
