Title: Building a Tent?

Seemed pretty simple at first!
Place the 10 Brahmin hides on the ground, press "S", use "SCIENCE" and watch magic happen right before your eyes... unless I'm doing something wrong. The game requests more Brahmin hides, and so far I've seen ten being the magic number. Has something changed or am I doing it wrong?

Any help would be hot!

Your doing it wrong! YOUR DOING IT WRONG!

Have hides in inventory, hold left-click on them and go to the vault-boy head icon, then click Science.
Then watch the magic happen.

Do I do it while on the world map or do I do it within the random encounter location? (I ask for clarification is all, though it may be a stupid question.)

Go to where you want your tent, enter a location, then do the magic.

Do it while in an encounter map, though do remember some maps wont allow you to make it there.
