Title: Old players in 2238 community?
Post by: runboy93 on May 01, 2012, 01:07:17 am
I was just thinking about this when I saw Marko's wiki profile and this line
Quote
I am 47, in USA, a former IT professional making medieval armor.
Whoa 47 :D

Then I was just thinking to ask is there other older players.

My step father plays this game and he's 70 something. Although he doesn't like it much anymore since the game is no longer crafter friendly.

Age doesn't matter much it's maturity that is the issue.  The first computers I used to play games on wouldn't have been able to even load Fallout 1, (heck even put in the disk).  Don't make any difference on here, just more fodder for someone to say "You're too old to know what this game needs." or "You're not old enough to even understand a community setting."

But with age, comes maturity......for the majority of people.

I started playing games on the atari, intelevision and comadore 64. Had something like 1 thousand games for the C 64, dont think i ever managed to play them all.

In SOME cases age breeds maturity.  But as with all things in the world it doesn't hold a constant ratio.  That is all I was trying to say.
