Title: Recycle
Post by: chocolate_chip_cookies on April 15, 2012, 07:08:59 pm
So I want to propose a recycle system where you can recycle your one type of ammo into another.
For example, turn your tons of unneeded 9mm ammo into 14mm ammo. Where around 10 9mm bullets would make 1 14mm.

This can be either implemented as:

a) A gunrunner NPC that can do it for you.

or

b) Part of crafting, where you can disassemble ammo to make it into other ammo.

so basically you are asking for disassembling stackable items
it wont happen

Hmm, not exactly. Because it could work by giving a NPC in dialog 100 of one type of ammo and getting 10 of another kind.

But why would you think stackable items disassembling won't happen?

nice idea i was always wondering why u only need metalparts for bullet cases . why dont they make such a system were u need first the powder plus the ammunition cases which u can craft with metal parts and some pressing machine , it would be nice . wasnt it possible to give thes guy at boneyard at fallut 1 some bullets and he was dissambling them and giving u some other type of ammo  ?

I second this motion. Nobody uses 9mm ammo, so it would be good if someone could convert it to Gunpowder.
