Title: Possible tent maps

Does anyone know what encounter map spawns this tent? I keep getting plain beach of beach with cars and garbage.

I want to compile all the possible tent types in this thread, if you have a tent type not posted please take a screen cap and let us know what the source map looks like.

-City Tent
-Desert tent plain
-beach tent dead trees
-Beach tent bare

I'm pretty sure you're trying the right encs. If it has water, you should get that tent, unless it also has any kind of city ruins, in which case tentbuilding is not possible afaik (tried it on two or three different ruins maps, no success).

The one exception to this is if you have the ranger perk. In that case your shack will be more or less pasted onto the plain beach map.

Well that sucks, I think that map would be awesome with ranger hut.

I saw someone say they got the ranger hut with the dock beach map and that it looked strange, I think it has to be a beach/wooded area to get it. Back when i took that screenshot was prewipe down by the boneyard.

Unless i misunderstand you, that map gives you exactly that ranger location, too. Pasted into the standard map.

i had that tent once this session on the coastline near san fran i THINK it was 10:25 or 10:24 but cant be too sure as the tent was remade elsewhere

I miss ability of making city tent in the same square as the city. Also picking junk just one pixel from NCR...

You can, most of my tents are in the corner of a city tile

Yeah but you don't have CITY TENT, you only get tent that's in the middle of the desert.

You can have a tent surrounded by ruined buildings on city tiles. Only the ones that don't have whole buildings.
