is having 100 outdoorsman any good?
what sbout 116?
from what i discovered 138 gives much-nearly all encounters are avoidable, but what about lower values?

100 Gives Ranger (Shack Camp With A Workbench)
150 gives Explorer (Faster WM travel)
175 gives Pathfinder (More squares highlighted when on WM)
Also gecko skinner at 100.
Any increasing level makes it easier to control deadly encounters.

what i ment is not what perks will i get but what % of encouters will i avoid...

100 does ok to avoid quite a lot.
I've got a 126 char that doesn't get bothered much and a 176 char that can and has gone from One side of the map to the other without going into an instance.

yeah with 150 u can travel safe mostly all time , 175 idk if 175 is better but i guess yes try it out . but with 175 Out u are on the safe side i think ;)

200 - almost never
175 - very rare
150 - rare
125 - good enough for most
100 - from time to time
50 - gecko skinning.
25 - almost same as 50, but you can't skin geckos.

if you can spare the points 150 is ideal, otherwise you spend 90% of your time on wm staring at little dots. It's more important if you have rep problems.
