Let's make these usefull
You can open them with crowbar if you have minimum 5 strenght and sometimes you get:
-nuka colas
-caps
-anything else? (junk?)

Thoughts?

Crowbars should also give a chance to open boxes and containers when they're locked.
The chance to open a box shouldn't be too high though as everyone would create a high ST alt for BP hunting.
Chance should be higher than with LP on a none LP alt. Which might be hard to implement.
Perhaps it could work as a replacement for the character's LP skill, like working as LP 50.

Better chance to open footlocker with crowbar, but if it failed footlocker should be broken and no chance to try opening again.

I'am asking Dev's why that is not implemented, not with only this item, but others...

Maybe like this if you have atleast 50-150 lockpicking and crowbar and high strenght and lockpick set you can open the box but you have 50-25% chance to jam the lock

I'm sure there are plenty of things that could be opened this way and would very interesting to see it implemented.

Crowbar could just give small bonus to lockpicking if you have it in your inventory. It's good that players carry items with them because it makes them more self-cautious.

Crowbar could give any player a chance to lockpick with just a crowbar. ST is the major modifier, lockpick skill would be a minor modifier and not necessary. 10 ST could give maybe a 10% chance, with a much greater chance of jamming lock. Crowbar could also be used to open a jammed lock with a chance of it actually working.

Absolutely.  There are a lot of containers already on maps like shelves and desks, all empty.  There are just as many objects that SHOULD be containers that are not (like the Nuka machine, wood crates, newspaper machines, etc).

Having 2 to 5 possible containers to look in for a few caps, smokes, or some loose ammo would definitely encourage more scavenging and map exploration.

As far as the crowbar idea as it applies to Nuka machines and footlockers... I like it.  I'm all for anything that gets us to explore the maps, instead of looking around real fast and running out 100 times a day.

That hardly makes any sense, it'd be more intelligent if you were risking your crowbar and not the locker.
