Hello, wastelanders. I would like to ask for your help with a little project I am slowly working on.
I don't know if you are familiar with an awesome program brought to us by Caled from the Amboy Dukes: the Amboy Tactical Tool (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php/topic,16218.msg134812.html#msg134812).
The tool is customizable and I am personally working on a different version using sounds from the game Planescape: Torment - to be specific, using The Nameless One's voice.
If any of you would like to help me, you could do so by posting here the messages that appear in the "console" or "messagebox" (screen in the lower-left corner of the screen) everytime these events take place:
You disarm a trapYou trigger a trap by accidentYou spot a trapYou fail to disarm a trapYou pick a lockOne of your limbs is crippled
Thanks in advance! When I am done with the configuration, I will upload my version of the Amboy Tactical Tool for all Torment fans and for anyone who might be interested :)
Once I have completed the work with The Nameless One's voices, maybe I will make the same with the voices of female characters if I find a decent amount of useful sound files from them (Annah and Fall-From-Grace are probably the only options) so it can be used with your female FOnline characters :)

You trigger a trap by accident - no message, you just see how much damage you took
You spot a trap - no message
You disarm a trap - yet to be seen, but not by me
You pick a lock - no message, you simply see how much xp you get
One of your limbs is crippled - no message, only damage is displayed and cripled status appears in upper left

You've successfully disarmed the trap.
You've accidentally triggered the trap.

NOTE! This is for bear traps only! With landmines, i get no disarming message at all. It only says you see landmine and then goes straight to showing experience points for disarming it, but does not give a message about disarming like with bear traps.

Do you remember the exact messagebox text? it could be useful for another sounds as well :P

There is no message at all that fires based on disarming a landmine. I can go back out and find some and get another screen cap but i think you'll be disappointed.

No, I meant the message you get when you *spot* the landmine, not when you disarm it. If you remember what that message is, I could give a use to it.

Screenshot, what for? This is all about sounds, with this thing I've made, you will hear The Nameless One's voice and some of his phrases when certain phrases appear in your messagebox in 2238. For example, when you die, you will hear TNO saying "don't let it end like this" just like in Planescape: Torment :D

When someone sneaking, and player with his perception noticing it at screen (ingame) but same player cant notice it because of real life perception - add message ?

Thanks, Andy. Also, I've been lucky enough not to find any translated version of those voices, just the texts. I did play Baldur's Gate with Spanish voices years ago. Sucked. Torment in Spanish would most probably be unbearable D:

The most important thing about the Amboy Tactical Tool is that it works with messagebox texts. If there is a messagebox text for the situation you've described ("you notice someone sneaking" or something like that), it might be possible to add a sound file to it. If I remember correctly there's even a file with TNO saying "show yourself!" or something like that :D
