If I had to guess, he is upset about the frequent occurances of theft, robbery, from his faction.
Looking at their stated mission, interacting with them in game, and reading his previous posts... he probably feels like those occurances are preventing them from helping those people they wish to help. This is likely the reason for the recent "public resignation", as an attempt to curb those problems.
Am I close?
If we have to hear from Mr. Ford, this one might be more applicable:

Assigning blame isn't helpful. A proactive attempt at solving the issue could be.

From what I know, The Lost Children are at a time of hardship right now. Many of the members left because of reoccurring problems.
Offering their kindness to the wasteland by admitting anyone to share base with them, TLC has always been vulnerable to base rape.
And people took advantage of their kindness by stealing what they've been working for.

God is subjective. I appreciate the sentiment though... wherein "God" is actually a superimposed image of ourselves, which makes it easier to trust an outside third party "entity" that really is us.

Everything about the current and future proceedings of The Lost Children is currently being kept confidential. Needless to say we've been the targets of many scams, raids, and rumors.... I've lost many members due to my apparent lack of leadership qualities.
I'm not entirely sure how to run a faction anymore to be quite honest. Last season I had the wasteland believing The Lost Children was a sprawling faction filled with many men and women... The Lost Children were only three-four people last season.
I'm not so sure how I can do right this time around.
Faction leaders, if you would care on sharing your knowledge of running a loyal and SECURE faction, please share your info with me, it would be VERY much appreciated.

Dude, i love you but if you ever squirt your body fluids in my eye again, i swear i'll go PK on you on basic principle.
Other than not squirting your ding-dang body fluids in people's eyes, i recommend telling your recruits when you add them to a base:
1) to NOT store important items here because it's a recruiting base and "we will get thieves"
2) do NOT park cars there and leave them for long, same reason
3) craft here all you want but take it with you when you're done
4) Get a private base pronto so none of this is an issue
5) watch out for Marko because he's not a fan of the whole body fluids squirting crap i tried on him before

Other than that, i see you as a worthy leader with a higher-than-average dedication to the game. That is gold in my opinion. It obviously takes a TON of time though so i'm done expecting much quickly.
Also you're going to Hell for being athiest. Keep in touch on your way there though,

These are things ANYONE can take part in. All I need in this faction are a few good men to instill a sense of civic duty in the average wastelander. Once we have wastelanders caring for other wastelanders... can you imagine the kind of cooperation we would be seeing?
NCR would be a hunt meetup location, and if we had more trustworthy folks around, we'd have bigger, more organized hunts, more wealth for EVERYONE.

Yes and i'm glad i'm not the only one trying to do things like that. I however do not ever expect NCR to be a friendly place. There will always be hateful people at their worst [best?]. But yeah, it would be great to wake up average players to play more honorably. Use discretion in PvP combat, help newbs get started, retain a larger player base (and thus keep their potential donation money close), etc. It's going to take time though. Meanwhile such efforts won't keep up with the program updates.

I remember you,my first fallout day,getting help by poor newbies like me to dig HQ ore...With your assault rifle and CA you looked awesome to my eyes,it gave me the will to hold on,improve,get a faction on my own.
You paid me 1500 cash for my job.Now,long time passed,and i felt the inspiration you gave me like a debt i have on you.Pm me anytime,and i will be glad to repay it back:don't give up on leadership.You have my total support.
And please,do not trust people access the main base.And even when you do,keep the main stash for leader only...really-
Another hint:if you want to be a leader,you need to establish objective to achieve for your mates.Helping is not enough.Maybe TC sometime,or organize team hunts.People grow bored quickly,and a bored guy becomes easily a traitor.

I m not a lover of your faction play-style,but,even if a rude manner,you are right.

There is no new with this season content.You need to learn the hard lesson NO TRUST if you want to survive.I admire you,but you can t escape the rules of the wasteland.This is the first one.

Well this was back when you needed to search encounters for veins lol. I saw this video shortly after beginning my playing here.

Well what can you do :\ it is generally not wise to add everybody you meet to your base with all your gear.
I suggest going with what marko says, but you can establish 3 bases and set which ranks can see them. I suggest making 1 base where only your top leaders can see with your own private gear with people you trust and make a base to help people with shitty gear that is easy to stock. I do not think there as many new comers this session and I think most of the people who are sticking around are seasoned veterans. I personally think its very noobish to base rape. This game isn't all that hard once you get a level 24 character dedicated to farming.
All the big "succesful factions" that are well known are pvp factions and they measure success based on how well they can kill the other pvp factions. If your goal is to help others and have stock piles of gear then I suppose having lots of caps and gear would be your goal.
Just be more cauticous who you add to your base is all I can say. I think its best if you are doing a carebear faction is to teach people how to play and do things themselves not baby sit them giving your stuff away to them. I think its more succesful approach to your cause would be to help people farm and let them take the loot and store at their own tents instead of keeping it at a base for people to take. Adding people to a base and letting them use whatever they want isn't a very good approach people need to see how the game is done to help them. Its nature vs pamper you pamper people too much they just keep taking, asking none stop questions and never learn to do things themselves. Sometimes you have to throw people out into wild so they learn how to survive.
I for one do not like doing carebear stuff honestly, but if I meet a noob and they need help I well show them how to do things, don't invite them to my base, and not keep giving them gear.
Think about this very carefully give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a man to fish he eats for a life time. If you keep giving a man a fish he keeps asking for it, he never learns how to fish and feed himself is what I get from that quote.
Also your member haunted soul I hate to say it but he's kind of a dick. He was in NCR with a ranger armor (last wipe) and I said don't be a dumbass and wear that in town you'll get bursted as general advice. Then he just started acting like a dick towards me and we exchanged words. I didn't know it was a skin but still this kind of stuff makes you a target to get based raped and PKd. If you want to help people its best not to act like a dickhead or roleplay as one.
Generorisity can only go so far before people just start taking advantage. That is my advice, you know what that sucks that happened but this game is not all that difficult to restock your stuff. Spend a good 2-3 hours farming and you'll get it all back.

Well point I was making, ok so maybe calling him an idiot or dumbass was a little harsh, maybe its just how we speak to people in my country but he over reacted then and now.
I mean saying don't be an idiot don't be a dumbass don't do this in the game is just my way of giving a friendly reminder. I mean come on you see some guy wearing ranger armor a GM given item only in NCR a town filled with suicide bursters it was just advice. I didn't know who this guy was or who was associated with and this is the type of hostile speech he started writing at me during the time.
But I think the moral of the lesson is if you don't want people to base rape you and want a succesful faction calm down a little and don't go all high and almighty and ride a high horse. But this guy has shown his true colors, he is not all that innocent that somebody base raped his noob helping faction.
I guess its an American thing but saying don't be a dumbass isn't something some of us find offensive and insulting in the US but its more of a comedic way of saying don't be a noob.
I mean come on the guy had a ranger armor skin in NCR! Thats just asking to get suicide sprayed is what I was trying to warn him but instead of saying LOL its a skin and taking it light heartly he went all out hostile.
Its not his "style of play" that gets him treated the way he does just look at what he wrote that is how he talks to people in the game.
Yes I straight up called him a dick because to me he is one for our exchange of words in the past. But I do not have problem with people roleplaying and helping others its not my play style I am a hardcore PvP ape but if other people play for pve noob helping and roleplay I don't really troll them. Its a video game and people have fun in different ways.

Well its the internet its a video game people well troll and taunt no matter what. You know PKers get the same sort of shit also they are always getting called PKing faggots as well so either way you can't win no matter your play style. No matter what you do somebody is going to disagree and insult you no matter what you do in this game.
