You should've used the original fallout font 'tho. ;)

Does this font exists as a truetype file?

Yes. There are two "Fallout fonts" thought: you got the one used in Main Menus for example (which is very similar to Impact by the way), and then you got a second font which is the one used in descriptions, dialogues, etc.

I think both can be found in No Mutants Allowed ;)
