Title: Formula for followers slots (CH)
Post by: toothpix on February 15, 2012, 12:08:46 pm
How are follower slots calculated when you mix mercs/slaved and players? I looked at the wiki but it gives separate formulas, doesn't say how they work together.

Party point system is clear btw, no need to explain it more:)

So if I want to lead, say, 2 mercs, 2 slaves and one player, how much charisma do I need?

The wiki gives (CH-1)/2 for max amount of NPC followers, does that mean 5 NPCs is the maximum you can have?

Or are slaves calculated separately?

If you have 10 CH and magnetic personality, will you be able to lead 5 NPCs and 5 players?

If you mean, on worldmap, then:

With 5 charisma you can only lead 4 people/npcs on worldmap.

-1 charisma, because yourself is included, then the 4 people.  -1(5) = 4

People, but not NPCs.

Yeah, I meant for travelling on world map.

So, basically it's CH-1 for overall headcount then... Thanks!

People, but not NPCs.

Yeah, it's for people AND npcs (slaves, mercs, dogs, whatever).  CH-1=Total Followers on WM.  But, with 10 CH, you could be at your base or tent and have 8 slow ghoul mercs and 10 slaves following you around.
