please can you upgrade dmg of XL70E3 ? burst only give 8 rounds and it is unuseful in game because it cost 8500 and assault rifle give more dmg is cheaper and can be farm ... Thx

But how much? You buff it too much and it's better than lsw when bursting and stronger than sniper when doing singleshots.

Avv did u see dmg of sniper rifle now? Its pretty hard to make burst weapon soo powerfull ;p

burst from XL70E3 to combat armor 100 % 20 hex 50 dmg, from assault 60 dmg .... and stack XL70E3 20 ammo and burst per 8 rounds....

xl70e3 do 18 - 29 dmg (burst 8 rounds)
assault rifle 14 - 23 dmg ( burst 12 rounds)

in final burst from assault rifle make more dmg and it is much cheaper than XL70E3. But i know that last seasson it was more more weaker. But assault rifle is still better

and is possible do 3 x burst from assault
X
2x burst from xl70e3 and 4 rounds will rest.

in single shot is better XL70E3 this dmg what i wrote was for one bullet. but people use for single shots hunting rifles or 223 pistol snipers etc.

Same, 18-29 for both, just checked. AR is 14-23. The issue is in the number of round per burst I guess.

burst of XL is 8 ( rounds) x 18 - 29 dmg
burst of assault rifle is 12 (rounds) x 14 - 23 dmg

Assault rifle is better for bursting
XL is better for single shoting but single shoting is using so much and cost of XL is very high

Mmmmh, dude, did you tested damage IG? Because at range only 1/3 of bullets can hit main target, rounded up. And with 8 bullet, I actually think 4 can hit the target, or it would mean the spread isn't symetric (or that a bullet disappear, unlikely).

yes i tried, from 20 hex XL7 to combat armor 100% 50-60 dmg,
assault rifle 55-70

from one hex asault rifle won too try it, you will see

I dunno why upgrade things instead of giving us a better toys which now are unavailible...

(ok maybe XL will do coz it's supposed to be best SG on 5mm ammo)

This is true. XL70 would have 3.66 bullets hit the target on average, AR would have 3.75.

XL70 will do more damage on average compared to an AR.

Mmmh, I don't really understand where that difference come from. If 4 bullets try to hit the target with 95%, result should be the same no matter what gun shoot them. Or is that because of the "target skipping" when one bullet fail to hit for the volley of 1/6 bullets which try to hit each critter in line ? Those would be 2 bullets for the AR and 3 for the XL?

1/6 hit target, 1/3rd go each side, remaining bullets follow centre line until one misses.

AR
1/6 = 12/6 = 2
1/3rd each side = 12/= 4
Remaining bullets = 12-4-4-2 = 2

So Bullets hit = (2*0.95) + 0.95 + 0.95^2

XL70
1/6 = 8/6 = 1
1/3rd each side = 8/3 = 2
Remaining bullets = 8-2-2-1 = 3

So Bullets hit = (1*0.95) + 0.95 + 0.95^2 + 0.95^3

assault rifle make more dmg in practice i tried it and i decided according to this test that assault is better it is XL7 better for burst i will not write here thats all i am only want balanced game and people dont using XL70 for burst only assault and they know why clear 3 burst little more dmg per burst

On topic: well, maybe extend the clip to make XL able to fully burst 3 times?
About what you experienced, that seem pretty weird to me, considering the numbers. Will try to test that out.

Yes, I tested and it didn't seem to make sense. Turns out it is slightly differnt, but different enough to make a difference in some circumstances.

Needs some fixes :)

EDIt: Actually only affects XL70

New XL70 stats will be 20-40 (same as Sniper) and 24 clip size. It now will now correctly be above the AR.

It was due to the way the left and right side bullets are worked out. It just happened that the only weapon where it made a difference was the xl70

Thankfully, yes.

Before XL70 was 5% worse at burst than the AR, now it will be 21% better.

It isn't some doomsday weapon as those responses seem to indicate, but then its complicated, so I see why you don't understand.

I'm well aware. Now it also equals the sniper in terms of single shot, but with a reduced range, but different ammo.

Lets ignore the increased range for the Sniper and the fact XL70 isn't designed to hit from long ranges (wrong weapon perk).

If you want to use the XL70 to try and get Armour bypasses, go ahead. You're bypasses will be nice, you're normal damage won't be. It creates a new niche and makes the XL70 worth being a high tech weapon that will be hard to get.

Infact, presuming BRD is being used, XL70 becomes less than 21% better than an AR due to the lower number of bullets hitting. With +4 from BRD its ~13% better. So, not quite sure where the whine is coming from. (I lie, I know its because you started the moan without knowing the facts)

So who's gonna use p90 now?

p90c should still be doing more damage, be easier to sneak with, be craftable and be one handed.

It would be easier if I was at home because I could just paste you the difference between the two, but you'd have to wait another 6 hours for that ;)

Boost is OK. P90 is still better in close combat, especially with BRD. XL70 is better in range combat. They have the same price, so what's the problem?

ftw its almost like m60 u serious ?.....
m60 deals much more damage anyway.

Fn fal is higher damage than AR, hpfa is higher damage than xl70 - not sure why either would need anything else.

Well, I don't have access to my stuff to see this in about a second, but lets try some rough working out.

FN FAL hits with 3.659875 bullets, DT is already covered by standard damage => 10.979625 base => 13.17555 adjusted => 8.5641075 extra damage.

AR hits with 3.5525 bullets, DT is already covered by standard damage => 10.6575 base => 7.105 adjusted => 6.74975 extra damage

I'm not really sure of your point, as FN FAL benfits more from mrd.
