I always wondered, you kill a brahmin, you take its hide and you dont have any meat to eat. So im for when you kill a Brahmin and you loot it, there will be some "Meat" along with "Brahmin Hide"

Would tie in nicely to the companion food/drink requirements.
Currently it's about 1-2% increase in loyalty/happiness per item - and if the companion is in a bad mood... well, you better go and find 50 brahmin skins and 400 fruits and go and make him some drinks. A bit of meat off some of the critters that could be fed to them would certainly be useful.

Absolutely awesome idea! Its just a mayor pain in the arse to craft drinks for your comps. Hell, i guess its much easier just to pay mercs off.
Would be just great to have various sort of meat, lootable from dogs, molerats and radscorps for example. With outdoorsman to craft :D

Meat should be used as a precursor for drug like buffout etc, because it is more entertaining to obtain it via brahmin hunting.
