I have a Hummer, and I can't access the trunk. It says "Need Key" but there is no key... I can't pick it either. Can I get a GM to help me?
-
you stole a lockpicked car and now cant get in the unlockpicked boot.

Open and shut case.

You have to lock the trunk AFTER you climb into it.
-
what?
-
Can I get some actual help on this?
-
Well you could always sell it back to the actual owner. If you had paid for it at T-Rays then you would have the key. And if you did buy it and didn't buy spares then that's your problem.
You could always pay someone to pick it for you. (just make sure you've got them tagged and are ready to pull the trigger - just in case.

You can't pick the trunk it just says "need key"

I didn't steal this car either

I find it rather impossible that you don't have the key then or did you lose the key?
I've never known a car in this game to use a different key for the trunk.
I've never known a car in this game to not need a key to drive it unless it's been lockpicked
I've never known a car in this game to be sold without keys when T-Ray sells them
So how did you get this car? if you bought it off another player then they either have the key or they stole it.

I didn't steal it.

I didn't steal it.
When did I say you stole it?
Twice now you have said you didn't steal it but not once have you said how you came into ownership of said car.

Once upon a time there was SWIM (Someone Who Isn't Me :) ) who purchased a 77' Cadillac from a gentleman for $300. Drove it around for about 2 weeks before it was "Stolen" by another gentlemen. Car was "recovered" then "barter" traded for "merchandise". About 3 months later original owner pursued SWIM with his buddy brandishing 2 baseball bats saying they were looking for "a little Indian". So what can you glean from this true story?

But where does Merlin fit into this story?
Is he;
The original owner who bought the car from T-Ray?
Lost his keys?
A thieving lockpicker?
Some innocent who bought a stolen car? without keys?

he's the fucking wizard, Merlin the Wizard, haven't you heard about him!?
