How does the perk work?
If your opponent's helmet has a -10 critical chance mod, does the perk lower it by 25 percentage points, making it 0,
or does the perk lower it by 25 percent, making it -7.5?

Jush checked, indeed. Well I do hope they changed it and that ignore helmet reduction of chance crit, or I will have to redo one of my lvl 24 :P Seems really worthless in that case.

I'm not sure what you mean, but one of the recent updates changed the perks that ignore armor critical mods to affect only critical chance.
I still don't know if it works in the first or the second way I described in the first post though.

Judging from name both stats are kind of critical modifier... Not that anyone can be sure of it... ;P

Lol the exact opposite that said in changelog:
- All perks that ignore armours' CMs now reduce Chance CM instead of Power CM.

"as for the eye crit modifier from helmets, I -believe- it is a negative mod to the crit modifier that armor provides. So if you crit and roll damage is 50, armor crit mod might be(this is example, not sure how formula works) is 40, taking 40 damage, I imagine the perk lowers that even more by -25%.
That is a bad formula example but I hope it kinda gets the point across. It doesnt effect the critical roll hit, I think. Just crit damage."

Theres just crit chance and crit mod (meaning lower/higher crit. table roll). Theres not crit. damage.
So I believe it affects crit chance now (latest changelog) and takes absolut of 25%, not percentage (otherwise, 25% of 10% crit mod of ca helmet wouldnt make a difference).
Comparing to Spray and Pray that should work like unaimed equivalent of RBtE.

It ignores 25% of the Helmets crit chance. It is a bit weak and should just ignore it all I think.
At the time I imagined it to be 25% I hadn't even done the armour's crit chance mods, so it was a bit of a guess ;)

Solar, we did some test-shooting and there is no difference at all. Snipers are useless at the moment...

It would be hard to tell if the effect is not working, or if it were too weak to be able to tell it was there unless you did loads of tests
