Post by: bobek289 on January 23, 2012, 09:17:39 pm
Didnt find any topic about it.

Does it reduce critical chance of opponent or critical dmg by 10?

thanks Crazy, but reason i asked this is because i dont know what crit roll means  :-\ If it is -10% of critical dmg like it is said before, than its completly clear to me :)

Well, when you score a crit, there is random roll on 0-100 on a table (unknown to player).
For example (following are just example, nothing to do with real crit table), 10-20 roll will be *1.5 dmg, 40-50 will be *3 damage knocked down, 90-100 will be *5 damage knocked out and blinded.
There are perks which modify this roll: man of steel do -10, better critical +20...

I took man of steel on my SG burster (tank? meh).

I never get knocked out, never blinded. (Plenty of knock-downs though!)  (at least so far, but I've been in hinkley alot so surely it would've happened by now if it was gonna...?) So, in conclusion, it's kick-ass enough to take I think, despite it's rather under-powered appearance. I've certainly had good experience with it. I didn't take stonewall as well so it shines out even more. :)

I still get decent raw damage though, been hit for bout 70s or so with BA and and BA helmet.
