Well i must say that i like it :) really much-devs you did a find piece of work ;) almost everything is better now including barter, blueprints and so on. Theres only two things that should be tweaked-det rate (i know, everyone whines about it) and well-the repair could be as it was pre-wipe ;) but except for that its great :)

+1 for repair

How come repair?
Repair is fine, there just needs to be 2 types of actions on an item.
Management - you clean, re-adjust, etc Small + to repair and includes a 60 second cooldown.
Junking - you sacrifice the viability of one item for the sake of the other's quality. (Like it is right now)
My opinion on the era.... is meh (When you put everything together, this era is gonna suck, because so many bugs and glitches screwed up it's future, but that's a BETA so i can't complain much ;P )

It allready sucks :-[

Well repair was an idea but it turned out bad... IN F3 you pawned enemies in PvE where you gathered plenty of half broke stuff
In FO to repair something you need to do PvP (which quite a plenty of players dislike) or crafting a new ones but:
1 - if you craft new ones why fix old ones?
2 - new ones cannot be crafted since blueprints arent availible
Possible solutions:
1- revert fixing stuff to pre-wipe feature
2- use materials (metal parts, alloys, fibers, etc) to fix broken stuff
3- add more PvE bad guys (i don't want to slay good guys - NCR - for their armors)
I run a faction of benevolent crafters and PvE fighters (mostly) and i regret to say that it's hard to start for such people... PvP apes on the other hand seems to be thriving...

with lots of bugs, i supoose you mean followers bugs, being sincereous i like that mercs, slaves and followers ae bugged the las week was probably the only week in Fonline that i ve not killed by a merc leader or spawn killed.
Also there are many other bugs and balance stuff that needs to be solved, like sneaker bursters, and the whole sneak issue, some quests etc.
Also i like the new way to get stuff, but in the end big gangs just pass upon it, and it only affects a few little gangs and loners
And i love that armors are no more a "status" sign, instead of that you can easy get most armors, but you need decent repair to keep them protecting yourself
1 - if you craft new ones why fix old ones?
2- use materials (metal parts, alloys, fibers, etc) to fix broken stuff
3- add more PvE bad guys (i don't want to slay good guys - NCR - for their armors)
1.- youre wrong; you need old ones to repait new ones, thtars the purpose of the "paper armor" issue
2.- YES +1
3.- Nah, i really like the idea of have to slain certain faction to get some stuff, it makes disliking a new isue, in the last era everything was about be idiolized by every faction, now you have to make decisions. you cant be liked by everybody, AND OF COURSE, THERE ARE NO GOOD FACTIONS, especially NCR.
-
I also meant the tc bugs.

I think the repair should be reworked slightly also. I like most the new features, with the standard gripes (Det on gear, respawn on res, ect.) But so far the repair system has been the most difficult to adjust to, let alone make work. I don't know if my skill is too low but for some reason when I attempt to repair one metal armor with another nothing happens. I don't mind the idea of needing materials to fix things, but perhaps adding in the ability to use more of the base stuff for repair ie junk, metal, alloys, and so forth. That way people don't have to spend a ton of time hunting that type of equipment, or building whole new sets over and over, just to repair an item. It has basically become a use an armor once and toss it sorta system, and that is really anti-fallout.

This gaming session didn't change anything with respects to alting. It actually made me alt even more lol.
-
Maybe it should be "status" sign. Like some weapons are. I liked it before, if you see someone in CA you know that you should watch out, or if you are high lvl, kill him for his expensive "suit" :)

What do you mean by "only"? loners and small gangs are a mass of people out there!
1 - meant if you can craft armors then you basically need to make a new one to fix old one and if you can craft them then why bothe fixing old one?
3 - maybe i should write good guys with "..." not to get misunderstood.
I mean why should i spoil my rep if i only want to get the armor from somwhere and do it myself somehow? You think it's a bad idea to have a possiblility to make a choice to kill "fair" guys or "villains"?

Wallace you are loosing your breath. I`ve tried to explain that but no one listen. But when i read your post, i think that mine is a bit confusing ;D

This is what shall happen. Raider groups with decent gear will begin to turn up - away from other high tech encounters (so there's no vs encounter give aways).
You can then kill these without destroying your rep with towns.
Repair/det/blueprints - these just need some tweaks. I'm pretty sure this system will be a lot better in the end.
These bugs and teething problems are the price we pay for changing almost everything on the game in one go. This season was always going to be about adjusting all the new systems and making sure they work as intended.

I agree with this.
It would be better if you use the old system to maintain items in good condition and the new system to replace parts for items in bad condition.
For example, you need no additional item to repair if the condition is above 50%, but you need an additional item to repair if the condition is below 50%.

Well I don`t have THAT big problem with the new det and repair system (but I would change one thing - you should be able to repair upgraded item ex. desert eagle exp.mag. with normal desert eagle) but there is one thing that I hate.
And that is the new barter system. It just don`t work for me I can`t sell anyone anything, traders don`t have ANY caps (srsly wtf is wrong with that?) and I don`t want to go to one city to sell knifes to other to sell guns etc. Ok I get that they wont buy a crappy 10 mm pistol, but why don`t you make it like it was before wipe? If the trader is a doctor - he buys med stuff for max value AND other items for low price. He might not want to buy 10 mm pistol but he will buy a combat shotgun.
I play with a few friends and normally we would go near New Reno or SF to kill some NPC and get thier stuff, sell it for some caps or other stuff that we need, store caps for new base/car/merc whatever - there always was a reason to go out and play :). But now all that i pointless because all I get from NPC is a useless pile of junk.
We used to like this game very much but now it`s just getting kind of boring.

The trader lists are old and not really working for this one.
New list are basically done and just need implementing (perhaps this weekend).
The main difference will be they have fewer different categories so its easier to know what goes where.
There will be low and high general, then low and high armours, then drugs.
Each trader would then have one or more of those. So you would never have to go to one place to sell a pistol and another to sell a knife.
Unupgraded items should be able to repair the upgraded too really. Will get fixed eventually
-
I do like the new barter system. It takes some thinking to buy/sell what you want.
You start with fruit and want to buy a super sledge, so you first trade the fruit for knifes in VC, knifes for ammo in Junktown and finally ammo for the hammer at Hub.
A filter would by nice, to hide all the items worth 0 caps.

Simple yet brilliant idea.

And let nobody buy radios. Let us dismantle them instead.

Must thank devs for making stills very comfortable to use. Just put the mats in and go do something else. It's like boiling potatoes :D
