How to make Scoped Hunting Rifle? I have scope, and small guns 1, and hunting rifle, but no option for it. I tried at workbench, too.
-
Probably need a Blueprint for it. See: http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=20502

For screwing on a fucking scope? Jesus Christ that is just petty.

My same thoughts on the matther... Just petty

He said "probably." Abe's a mod, not a dev. Maybe it's SG 2, which the OP doesn't have yet apparently.
-
yeah, probably you need SG 2 for a scope
-
It was set to SG3 by mistake (which doesnt even exist now). Set it to SG1 and it never needed a blueprint.

So from now on, if I have SG2 prof, i can make Scoped Hunting Rifle by default?
-
If you have SG1 you will be able to

If you have SG1 you will be able to
Same with Desert Eagle (Ext. Mag.), I guess? It is not in Fixboy at the moment.

If you have SG1 you will be able to [make Scoped Hunting Rifle by default]
Is that fix currently implemented, or like with the next update? Because my SG(1) character cannot create a Scoped Hunting Rifle yet.
I cannot create Desert Eagle (Exp. Mag.) or .44 Magnum (Speed Load) also, while I can create Desert Eagle .44, Extended Magazine, .44 Magnum Revolver and Speed Loader.

Could well be, I shall check when I get home

Solar, if this is the case, let me add that a SG 2 crafter I can only do .223 rounds, 14m rounds and 5mm AP rounds at the moment (besides the SG 1 stuff) Does that mean I need a blueprint for the only gun I was interested when getting the profession (a simple Assault rifle) because at the moment I can make the extended version not the normal version and it just feels like a complete letdown.
Its cool I cant craft .223 pistols yet or P90c, jackhammers and that tier 3 delicious weaponry, but a measly Assault rifle is too hot to handle?
-
Generally, everything requiring a second profession level should need a blueprint (and a handful of level 1 items too).
Assault Rifles are good :P
The DE/Magnum upgrades were both SG3 too, fixed on update.
-
Does this means I will be getting my assault rifle? or should I start doing my 300% lockpicker treasure hunter to attempt to find my glorious blueprint...
Or maybe its given in a quest I have absolutely no idea it exists... Seriously Solar, don´t take me wrong I love the idea of blueprints (dont like in the slightest the idea of making an alt just for getting them) but come on Tier 2 stuff that already costed me 4.5 caps (not so easy to get by yourself) shouldn´t be so hard to get, hell maybe even have the guy who taught me the job to sell me that one blueprint or something im losing my it :@

I think AR BP's are in a quest, I'm sure they'll all be found and put on the forum before too long :P
The idea behind blueprints is they should primarily be a quest thing (with multiple quests for each one) - in a similar way to the support perks. We will get more on different quests in time and I'm sure you'll start seeing more being traded as people get duplicates.
If its tougher to craft these things, then ... its kind of doing part of what it was intended to. High tech should be harder to get hold of.

What about 10mm SMGs, do they need a blueprint or SG(2) as well?
My character can create .45 Grease Gun SMGs quite cheaply with SG(1), and I believe that a 10mm SMG was less advanced than this.
-
10mm and grease guns were swapped, to make .45 cal the low ammo.
10mm smgs are kind of early level higher stuff
-
So, was this fixed with the bug that was just released?
-
we will see in couple min when server comes up.

Seems so, my SG(1) can craft all the guns with their modifications now. One issue, when upgrading to scoped HR, it changes the ammunition required back to .223 rem instead of .22 LR:

Also crafting it doesn't give exp. Understandable since you're just bolting on a scope, but IDK if this is intended or not.
