targeted shots are the shots that you can't do if you have fast shot

untargeted=unaimed

spray and pray works best with fast shot or with low weapon skill

Armor protects you from critical hits now, lowering the chance.

If some helmet+Armor have Critical protection total 20, perks like hit the gaps make it -5? (-25%)
And what does it make? Better change to make critical to enemy or DMG done by crit will be better?

essentially yes.

it ONLY affects chance to make critical hits.  I do not know if it affects damage except for raw protection from threshold and DR.

(Your Luck + Your More Crit Perks + Aimed Body Part Crit Bonus) - (Enemy Crit-Defence Perks + Enemy Armor Critical Modifier - Your Crit-Modifier Perks) = Chance for your attack to crit.

No warranty for this formular but it seems the only reasonable for me, maybe enemy EN plays a role in this too, but I don't know how exactly

For aimed body parts crit modifier look here http://fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Aimed_shot (http://fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Aimed_shot) (don't know if still valid after wipe)

So with HtH you add for example haymaker 15% crit change+ to that calculation?
Or do Haymaker have anymore that plus? (I don't think it need it anymore, because we got perks that give better change to crit)

I think I'm correct in saying that those special hth attacks don't add on like that, they use a different mechanism which is more like Sniper/Slayer.

Andraz's equation is a reasonable approx if altered slightly:

(Bonus chance from "to hit roll" + Your Luck + Your More Crit Perks + Aimed Body Part Crit Bonus) - (Enemy Crit Defence Perks - [Enemy Armor Critical Modifier * Your Crit-Modifier Perks]) = Chance for your attack to crit.

Body part bonuses weren't changed.

I bit offtopic but could you say a bit more on that? Sniper/Slayer was a luck roll to upgrade all and any hit to a crit hit... that's how haymaker works :o ???

Where would you put Haymaker's crit bonus to that equasion?

They work as a chance to upgrade a non crit, rather than a luck roll they have the flat chance displayed.

Anything more in depth must wait til I'm not in work!

Hehehe nice

So if you don't score crit hit then you have like 15% chance (wiki says it's +15% to crit chance) for upgrading it to crit hit anyway?

I'm not sure, but according to his description it ignore unspecified critical modifiers given by the armor.
Makes sense that it applies both on critical chance modifier and critical roll modifier, where with the roll one I talk about the damage/effects. Armours give also this malus to the roll on the critical hits tables, and since it's unspecified which one of the two (chance and roll) modifiers it ignores, I vote for both.

Still at work? I was thinking if there's any point going melee if unarmed has the best weapon for free.

Im still little confused about spray and pray so please help me out. Does it mean that with spray and pray perk we can ignore armor critical hit/mitigation modifier using single shot/burst weapons? Does it affects all BG weapons and ignore armor critical hit/mitigation modifier completly like in decription and if not, how does it really work then? Just curious if bg crit builds are still viable in this patch cause of the new armor stats. Peace

Yes zero that's right, the reason I came up with this one was to keep the crit burster build alive

Stupid question I think but nonetheless: Does this perk apply to NPC armor too or only PC?

Because then I would think it would be better than more crits (lvl2). 10% more crit VS -25% crit-defence is a hard choice. It's basically JHP VS AP ammo ;)

It applies to everybody
