Dude were you not there when they said they didn't want to post this on the forum? But anyways any moderator, developer the the great rock tribe would like to talk to you about this matter.
Nobody better not dare troll this this thread it would be very disrespectful and what his friends didn't want.
-
how do you know that Christopher Luedtke is Ulrek?

You was right about media so I edited my post but, Ulrek is a member here so I think is good to know what's happened to him.
-
Hello, i was a close friend of Ulrek and i can confirm his name is Chris luedtke and yes he died on november 16. Over at the gray rock tribe we all feel horrible about it as we all are very close friends.
-

Well its best to leave what they want to do in game for ulrek from his friends and this is not what they wanted a forum post to draw in trolls. If anything its up to his closest friends in game and what not and they didn't want this for him.
I talked to key from TGRT and he said no forum posts, and that they would honor him in their on way the way he wanted, and would handle this. Any developer or moderator please take the time to read this, and not troll and ignore people who want to do something in game for this guy.
-
That's horrible news if true.
I didn't know him much but he was a great person in game and I'm sure the same was in real life because you can't fake such things.
-
We were skeptical about the news post ourselves, But once we saw the picture of Ulrek (Christopher Luedtke) on the Video, we knew it was actually him.
-
@GR1M : Moderators will follow this thread, dont worry about this. Im sure they can contact me on forum and please stop say shits GR1M, Thanks !

As he was a member of TGRT and a great friend to all of us in the faction. We know for sure the person (Christopher Luedtke) in that article is Ulrek. Ever since we discovered the news articles about the incident we've been in absolute pain.
-
well, in this case RIP Ulrek, but still
*Show must go on*
(i meant we shoud go forward in life and continue our own quests, in this case FOnline, and remember Ulrek for all the good thing he did)

Ok sorry, they were already pissed at Reese and once again I have to stick up for his young minded stupidity, but I got the impression they didn't want a forum post.
But still I am sorry for your lost of a friend guys. I well stay out of this, but once again I am sorry. I hope they catch the guy and give him TTTLA style justice :D
-
Really Lag, I thought you'd treat this better then that.
-

Rip
But yeah Lag is right. We can't let show stop. Show must continue.
-
He was a cool guy in and out the game.
Nice player, did some good beta testing and had great ideas.
Respect.
-
This is very sad news :(
-
Rest in peace Ulrek
-
@Lag & Runboy
Of course life goes on, but please, is it really necessary to acknowledge something that is already obvious? Let's just try to aim this thread toward paying our respects to a fellow member of the community whose life was ended abruptly.
-
Rest in peace. Didn't know you as well as Arath and the others, but still hope you are at peace.
-
Rest in peace.

I've talked to him a few times and helped here and there when I still was a GM, he was a good guy.
My condolences to his family, relatives and close friends.
@ Frenchy, don't worry, we'll watch over the thread.
-
i had seen him in game, but i really didn´t know him as a person... anyway it´s a terrible and a very sad new... my condolence for all his close friend :(
-
RIP

One thing that makes me mad, is the lack of respect the media show about all this.
"They're even looking into their financial stuff!"
*Slaps some random papers on a table*
Also, some of the information they have put in there might not even be true at all. I once read about a guy's death, the media said a lot of things about him, for example that he was about to marry his grilfriend from I don't remember what country... then I find the guy's account in a Myspace kind of website, and his sister has opened it and announced that most of the things the media said were false, and that the guy wasn't even in a relationship.
I am not saying that everything said in that article linked here is false, maybe Ulrek's friends can confirm everything that is said there. And of course it won't change shit, but as said I just can't believe the lack of respect we have to see sometimes.

actually Surf, his parents died Hours after him. One of the reports we read, the body's were found seperate from eachother in the basement. So... Just relatives and close friends,
-
Yes, sorry that was a bit mistyped, thanks for your corrections. :/
-
No one better make any stupid comments. He did not deserve to have a life ended that fast. He was a nice man and was very polite. R.I.P. Ulrek/Christopher Luedtke :(
-
You see those people on forums.
You begin to like how they think and write their posts and read them very interested.
You start remembering their nicknames.
And then you read about such crime and tragedie about one of those fellow community member.
I feel pretty sad now. I never met Ulrek ingame but i liked his personality he showed on this forum.
I hope he gets his peace, whereever he is now.

R.I.P Ulrek

Rest in peace Ulrek, the deepest condolences to family (grandparents,...) and close friends. :(
-
We all walk our own roads, some are seemingly endless, others are shorter than we'd expect. Some roads are well paved and straightforward, others are twisting and treacherous. We never know where or when our roads end.
Some believe there is paradise beyond the end of our roads, others believe there is nothing but a black, empty void. No one truly knows for sure what is at the end of their roads until they step off the road themselves.
Ulrek, a member of this small community has come to the end of his road, and bears witness to whatever lies beyond. May we all wish him a peaceful rest and spare some tears for our lost FOnline brother.
Rest In Peace, Ulrek
-
RIP Ulrek, i remember when i played with you few times... i still have some screenshots.. :(
I didn't know you in real life but In game you was nice person. Rest in peace bro. I hope you will enjoy up there :'(

Helped him in driving the Grey Rock Tribe - I didn't know him IRL but still - if someone got such "accident" its sad not for only his real family but also guys with which he played... I hope they'll find the guilty...
-
its sad to read that, such a unfair world.
i remember that weird way of sign his posts with -Ulrek-
Just an idiot joke to broke sadness: at this rate there will be no people to wait for wipe; we cant wait forever.
-
That's really bad news.
-
Taught me the secrets of camping and merc leading,i m sure he was fine in real life as he was in game.
Sometimes real life is much more unfair than wasteland-
Rest in peace captain.

Wow... I don't know what to say... he was somewhat a jerk and was a pker... but may his soul go off... RIP man, RIP... he doesn't deserve to die... :'(

Holy shit :(
Poor family... Shocking
-
I just hope justice come to those who did this, i just hope it.
RIP
-
What a tragedy :(
Rest in peace.

It is always a tragedy when someone dies well beyond his elderly days...
I do not feel however that someones death should be mentioned over and over in thread 5 pages long
(let the man go and if you must mourn him don't do that in public but in your thoughts/prayers - just a little suggestion of mine)

Well, the others and I havent posted here in awhile. Just me mostly popping in to see new posts, These are mostly people who just seen him on the forum or a glance ingame. We (TGRT) dident even make the Topic nor was it made with our consent at first. Besides, I don't think that there are many people here with more then 1 or 3 posts of there own here. But I get where you're coming at, and we've already been doing such things. The more latest posts here are just other people showing their condolances.
Though, if we did have the chance, we'd still Put up a statue of him in the village if we could, heheh.
