To log in, we type our character name, hit Tab, and then enter the password. Fast and simple.
Or at least that's how i suggest it should work. The way it is now, we have to start by hitting the Backspace key over and over to delete the exiting name, then type the new one, press Tab, and then press backspace over and over again to delete the previous password. Ugh. My suggestion is to tweak the login prompt functionality so that the entire password is highlighted after tabbing to it, and the entire password deleted upon typing the new one. This is how most login prompts work (industry standard) thus it's what most us of are used to.
Justification: to play this game in particular to its fullest requires numerous characters. "Switching guys" is thus something nearly every player has to do frequently, so having a smooth login process is important. Using the exact same password in each case is only a way to shortcut this issue.
