greeting FOnline comunity, i whant to remember some stuff from the previus sesion and the begining of this one
remember the time the junk had to be colected from barrels
remember the time you needed books to craft
remember the time the junk section was vieweble for all

I remember that when I had just started (just before last server wipe), all long haired player characters you ran across were PKs. I have no idea when this changed.

I remember it too, tent robbers in NCR, PKs in Den/New Reno, PKs in Gecko mine, PKs in encounters between Hub and JT, they all were long haired! ALL! I still have a habit to not trust long haired skin players ^_^

When marauders got p90c as default weapon.
When enclave patrols were so weak that you can do them alone even in RT.
I remember times when some unguarded towns was populated too. :P

I remember caravan traps, real FOnline: Chess for many many hours. I even remember few devs attracted by one of these. I wonder if they managed to science something there.
I remember 12 minutes delay between rocks digging. When this nightmare was over, I realized what proxy means and how to use it. Too late, as always.
I remember running through Wasteland to get an antidote from my tent, with like ~20 HP that was lowering. Man that was an adrenaline. Now, with parking tents and hideouts all over the map it's not the same.

- when no weapons were nerfed yet and PvP was actually fun
- when you could kill 5 people with 2 Avenger Minigun bursts at 30 hex range
- when farming was the way to go about getting your stuff and people had over 9000 ways of killing BH caravans in the most efficient way possible

- when Lens robbed your sorry ass in the Hub and sold you back your shit in San Fran... with a discount

I remember the times stealing form gazoil, just to be shot and then taken as trainee by him.
I remember the glorious times of people (almost) peacefully gathering in Modoc.

I began to play after the last wipe, wich is more than 1 year ago:
- i remember the times were you could find tons of players in encounters near cityes wich means to me real gang hijacking or just got killed, instead of tons of PKs with BAs and Avengers grinding lone cityes.
- I remember guys raiding Junktown.
- I remember pks before S8 in bluesuit and killing everybody in mines with the same efficacy.
The game was better when it was simple, i mean no need of taxi alts to go anywere exept in TC, people able to stand in combats with non powerbuilds, most of the good stuff was easy to farm.
Wait Im making a good idea: the game was never simple, but i feel it simple.

I just started in August this era. Can anyone here provide their best guess as to this game's timeline? Just dates of wipes would be fine.

I remember when this game was interesting.
I also remember when it was easy, with leader character, to make large gangs just by recruting random people from NCR, and going to Broken hills and/or New Reno, and raiding the shit out of those places. Good times.... good times....

I almost forgot...
- when you could kill Drakonis in various places and he dropped pretty unique items, spawned for him by 2238 staff (turbo plasma rifles, combat armors when not craftable and other cookies)
- when you could meet skejwen as brahmin in the wastes, standing next to a dead BH caravan (equipped with miniguns and 5mm ammo then) and saying: "wtf you idiot, i'm full of miniguns, pick up this stuff"
- when someone in NCR was telling stories about people having base under the Cathedral.. they must have been very happy to share their wealth with us right after that,
- when gangs weren't full of pussies looking for an alliance after losing some shit, and when people prefered revenge to posting whine threads and sending requesthelp,

Are screens of that famous player-event still possible to get somewhere? Only place i knew was NMA sub-board, but this is long gone.

I remember when i starting like big newbie exping on mutated molerats.. i died everytime when i met some pks .. and than i get Random Enc with Ladder in middle without molerats ( gauss enc :D ) and run out cause i think i met another PK :D

Yup, I remember dropping combat armor on the world map by a missclick, back in times when you couldn't craft that shit and there were maybe 15-20 of them in whole game. Shit happens :D

I remember my first steps in the desert (having never played fallout)
- The difficulty of going alone in the north ....
- Change in turn-based ...
- Get lost at the keyboard buttons ...
- To die stupidly in the random encounters (being surrounded by animals and by PK)
- Create a character quickly (and not very efficient hybrid)
- To blow players to RNC
It's difficult for a woman to be included in a gross world, where 99% of players are men ...

And the time when hinkly was a fun place to practice PvP without gear loss before they axed the lady because of bug abusers.
I remember the time when you could only collect 4 HQ ores at a time and losing brotherhood armor was a big loss and a great thing to loot from your enemies.
Yeah I didn't play beginning of this session nor the last one...
