ive installed foline onto my laptop, i downloaded the client, then installed it proppely onto my laptop , and browsed the files to give it the proppa master dat and critter, and the launcher wont launch, so i went into program files and launched it from there all that came up was a grey screen, then after like 5 mins it came up cant find critter dat. when i clearly have put the critter dat in correctly i dont understand hows it not working, also when i click the launcher a wondow pops up the application failed to initialize properly (oxcoooo135) click on ok to terminate the application. i dont understand what going on , please can somone help me out on this lol thank you

Better use config, get path there, check if it's really right, then run from config and say what happens.

ok mate, ill try that now thank you, but ive installed it and uninstalled it like 5-6 times lol to make sure i got it right

i just tryed what you said and that window pops up again the application failed to initalize properly ( 0xc0000135) click on ok to terminate the application, its annoying

You got Fallout 2 right?

yeh, i installed it, and when i downloaded the foline, i used to master and critter dat from the fallout 2 , but it still wont work , i really dont know whats wrong with it like

Make extra copies of master and critter and put them in all of the fonline-related folders.
Also: hit Apply :P
Get updates first.

ok ill try that later on today thanks guys, but i think it might be the laptop not enough ram on there to run games maybe, its a cheap one i bought for £40 lol not much memo on there

I ran FO2 on 16 megs ram.
There were some super laggy areas.
64MB Ram recommended, plus Fonline uses its own engine and there is the network/online overhead.
Plus your opsystem and whatever other crap is running.
Also defrag.
