So, about repairing weapons. Is a pain in the ass, and ALWAYS need of alts for repairing stuff.
Why not stick a little bit more to Fallout lore?
Small Guns: "The use, care and general knowledge..."
Big Guns: "The operation and maintenance of..."
Energy Weapons: "The care and feeding of..."
When a experimented gun user (by example, a police officer) take "care" of his gun, that meant dissasembling, cleaning and changing "broken/deteriorated parts" for new parts.
In short terms, "maintenance".
"REPAIRING" a weapon broken should need % of repair skill, but "MAINTENANCE" (from 0 to 99% endurance) should be able to do it for the gun user itselfs.
I think that the image and the example says all, and no need of more explanations.
This could be implemented?

The more skill % you have, the slower a weapon dets.
Repair is the skill on putting the item back together.
Which makes sense, but i do understand what you mean.
Maybe repair should get a little boost depending on the skill % on the weapon your repairing, small enough to make a difference but not big enough to be depended on.

I think i've suggested weapon skill have an effect on repair, but i'm not sure.
If i havent, i definitely like this.

Guns deteriorate way too fast in my opinion. To be honest, I would not mind if they did not deteriorate at all, but I understand that some players want to repair them and keep it 'realistic,' in which case I think the deterioration rate should at least be realistic as well.
Having to switch/find new guns after only a few encounters is quickly becoming an annoyance.

With skill around 220% (no matter sg,bg,ew) you simply gonna die first (and lose your weapon) than you broke it. To be specific,, its about 400 bursts from bg gun to get 99%. But if you have skill around 100%, than yes, gun is deteriorating fast. But i think it makes sense as it is now.
