Hey guys. I'm a bit new at character development and I was pondering on how I should build a bg char. I've got this so far :
SPECIAL = 6 6 8 1 6 8 6; Small frame; Good Natured;
Tags: Big Guns, Outsdoorsman, First Aid ( Or Throwing, not sure yet )
As for perks, I've seend multiple choices :
[3]toghness[6]BRD[9]BRD[12]Lifegiver[15]BRoF[18]Action Boy[21]Stonewall
or no toughness and one extra lifegiver
I'd probably go on jet after level 18. I would need buffout as soon as I get my minigun (nuka to cancel). Perhaps psycho and cigs on pvp.
I'd rather have at least 50 carry weight so I wouldn't want to lower my strength further.
Any feedback ?

Maaan, your build is really crappy, but thats not the point. You suggest 2x bonus move, which according to realtion between topic founder's APs, and minigun burst consupmtion, leads us to conclusion: he would rather play real time mode. So in this case, bonus move is so baaad.
As for TB bg its like that: 7 6 10 1 6 10 1. Tags: SG BG FA, traits: small frame, fast shot.
Quick recovery (could be awareness also); bonus move; bonus move; lifegiver; brof; Action boy; action boy
skills: SG 159%; BG 200%; FA 114%
222hp at the end.
As for Real time BGner, i think that there are people here who knows better than i, so you should wait for their opinion.

Fast shot is useless.

Try this one, Nuka + Cigs, uses LSW, one burst per turn.

The Tank Wichura gave is about as good as it gets in the tanker-tanky tankness department, but if you want the super real time dual bursting jumpy psycho I have a better build for that, though it requires more drugz.

(Weapon Handling perk too)
Jet, Buffout, Cigs, Nuka cola, psycho.
p.s. I suggest taking psycho on wichura's tank, it'll be really hard to kill you then in full gear.

I forgot to mention I don't like to use a lot of drugs, that's why I don't have tested junkie-char I could recommend.

Fast shot is useless.
Its not. Two main advantages is:
-easy level up (up to 6 shots per turn)
-easy level up for next chars (up to 6 shots per turn, which allow supporters to finish knocket out critters)
But yes, for RT playing is useles, but still better then 'bloody mess'

For big gunner Fast Shot IS useless.

2 burst minigunner. Uses psycho and cigs and has healing capabilities as well.

For big gunner Fast Shot IS useless.
rocketeers could use fast shot??? or no, i have no idea.

No fast shot works with ranged weapons that can be aimed. Still TB big gunner usually has small guns tagged too in case of getting the arms crippled. And with fast shot you can do 6 shot with 14 pistol which can be useful in case you helping someone to level or fighting weak targets.
