Title: use for gold(besides base decor)

I don't believe that there is any use for gold beyond decoration and status symbol nut perhaps this can change...
I'm sure that some would request a way in which it could be added as a high tier energy weapons mat, I have a better use for it.
Namely GOLD KNUCKLES!! These blinged out bad boys will let you take down your problems in style sparing no one and no expense. Perhaps they can also have a custom engraving (description) put on by the crafter. Thoughts?

Make gold count as twice its caps value for Dialog Purchases.

Bases, Mercs, Professions, Cars, Doctor visits (healing, fixing crippling, radiation and poison curing), Rail Passes, Day Passes, Beer/Booze/Cigs/Nuka.

Maybe vary it from 1.5x to 6x, depending on the seller/trype of thing.

Also, Doctors and Bartenders will vend/barter for their regular inventory at full value of gold.

Make every goddamn taxi/leader character drop charisma when hit in head and allow golden teeth to restore it. Here's use for your gold.

On more serious note, it could be used to craft some items, for example energy weapons.

what about gold plated weapons? (im pretty sure this would get shot down) but maybe if you accomplished so many kills you could get this. Like a golden plated 10mm needs over 2000 rats to be killed in order to make it gold plated. Also you would have to go to a vendor to have your pistol become gold plated. (like a requirement for the fixboy) You would need so much gold, your 10mm, the vendor, and a certain amount of money.
- this just popped in my head since alot of games have this rediculous shit.

Well, maybe make it permanent/unlootable, so i dont need to kill 2000 rats but only 1 asshole that wasted it's life to kill 2000 rats.

ya that makes alot of sence, people who dont diserve it shouldnt have it.
