Title: New skin
Post by: Rake on August 16, 2011, 12:24:37 am
From the café of broken dreams in fallout 2 we know that the graphics pack include skins to play as an african american male. With respect to the growing population of players of various ethnicities as well as the increasing number of represented nationalities in the FOnline wasteland my suggestion is that "race" becomes a choice during character creation :)

No animations, no race choice.
Wait for 3D.

Are you sure there are no animations?

The NPC in the café of broken dreams humorously jokes about being ready for use but not being used? Also, If I'm not mistaken the different skins available through haircuts were implemented from the cafe of broken dreams?

I don't remember seeing sprites for black characters to wear leather armour or leather jacket at any point. I believe the metal armour animation is quite limited as well.

Also, the extra haircuts came from painstakingly editing thousands of sprites by hand, I believe by the NMA modding community.

The black afroamerican guy has no run animation, it would fit into fallout 2 but you need to run in fonline.
