Well at first I'd like to say that Vault 21 is not in any way endorsed by the Fallout 3.
OK, so here we go. The Vault 21 is the amateur music project founded July 2011 by me and the school mates from high school times. The music is inspired by Fallout and other post-apocalyptic stuff. It's generally industrial and dark ambient music. It's not a mastepiece like the Fallout soundtrack, but... we're doing our best to improve it! :)
Here's the Last.fm page where you can download or hear three tracks from the upcoming mini-album ".. a few bombs later"

Enjoy!

I'd really like to give it a try, but last.fm is being a bitch here and won't properly play the songs. :< Is there any chance you could upload it somewhere else?

Here's the new creation of Vault 21.

You can listen other music there.

It's not very falloutish.
The original fallout ost was sorta depressing
It needs some sirens, clicking noises, metal doors slaming or any other kind of random crap in the background.
Also sorry for grave digging.

Well I posted one of the industrial/noise songs. The second thing is that we won't copy Mark Morgan, although we have some ambientic songs. I'll post the 1st album "Holodisk" soon.

Hi.
I was wondering how I could be a part of this project. I am also an ambient artist and have been involved in doing BGM/SFX for an old modding crew called Nuclear Winter Studios in the past.
I never was one for trying to "copy" the way Fallout 1 and 2 sounded. I believe there is nothing wrong with pushing in a different direction musically as long as it still is relevant to the game at hand. I personally enjoy making drones and melancholy ambient music.
Are my submissions welcome?

Nice stuff! That's totally sounds like ambient, and a bit of drone. But Fallout's OST sounds a bit different, more noises of any kind as Mike said.
