I don't know (haven't tried), but someone said the transfer is working between accounts in the town you are currently in.
If not, it would be good to report in Bugs section following the thread rules.

Cool, thnx for the info. Yeah, i lost 3000+ caps. I had a test char and i think i used him more than i should. I ended up having more stuff on him than my main so i thought i should send the money. It was hard work after all :P

You're welcome. So you have two chars with bank accounts in one town. You write down the account number of main char, login the second char, send the money to the account number you wrote down and the money are lost?

I doing it very often, and i never got any problems. But i did it only at NCR and Hub, no other towns.

Yes, 3000 caps lost. I did it in the Hub. Both chars in Hub at the time, but the money never came :(
