Title: No wipe?
Post by: Marko69 on July 27, 2011, 12:10:42 pm: Why were there no changes, updates or wipe for such a long time?
Are devs given up on this game, or they have some problems with developing.
If there are such they can write about it, maybe someone will help.
I don't know who's paying for the server, but it's running same old **** since 07/03/2011 last update.
There are many bugs known to players ..and to devs I hope. And it's more than obvious that the game lacks features and rewards. It's like for people who want to play for the lulz.
I had a feeling to make a topic and discuss it.

Everyone is waiting for wipe like kids waiting for a birthday present. By the way wipe will bring much more than just domination new/revoked perks , revoked crafting , new stats for armors , weapons etc. etc. actually what i have read from solar posts much is gonna change.

When wipe comes solar will be like this.

Hmm, good to know that someone still "waiting" for wipe. I personally think that not everyone wait like a kid for a present... For example i dont care about when wipe will be, or even waiting for it

But i must admit i forgot on perks and these things, so yes, wipe will bring something good

If I could actually get some time free I could actually finish up the stuff I need to do before the wipe. Oh well, a couple of weeks holiday coming before too long :)

quick season, without updates, only few small changes in tc system and that is enough for me

Devs work voluntarily on that game (i bet none of the "wipe now" guys do anything voluntarily),
that means they dont get a cent out of it. They should get 1 cent for every whine tread and become millionairs!

Still, i get the point of these treads, as to some it may look like there is noone at all working on the game.
If you want to be informed about the progress, you search for information all across the board.
For example there is alot of new stuff shown in the 3d development area, Solar and other guys sometimes
mention their ideas in different treads and so on.

Maybe the devs could do something like a preview tread in the news section. Just a list of upcoming stuff,
a few examples of the 3d armors and weapons and general words about the progress, all in 1 place.

Players could check, and actually see some of the upcoming stuff. Maybe that makes waiting for updates and wipes easier,
as people will see where the game is going, and how it will look like ;)

Truth Been revealed. Surf may work on game, but bans everyone to enjoy it.

I believe they mentioned we will not get the "Hero" 3D models next wipe.

Arg... I just want the wipe so bad! I want to make a new character and don't wanna lose progress ^^ now i am impatiant. :P

Last wipe, it was in the middle of work week, and only part of us was able to participate on post wipe.. Thank you.

ahahahahaha that's exactly what I'm doing :D

To be clear, personally, I didn't "give up" with FOnline, but I'm waiting for the HtH remake/new patch/wipe... whenever it is going to happen.
